Kia does not care about their customers once the car is sold.Do not buy Kia Cars in Canada, they are just money hungry. Canada seems to allow the corporates to scam people without any repercussion.

My 2022 soul ev is a lemon. Motor and transmission got replaced. Blower motor and a/c died within 30k. All under warranty but still VERY annoying. Kia connect app is trash and won't start the climate anymore. Customer service is useless about it and if nobody fixes it in the next weeks I will take legal action. Oh and don't get me started on the useless Kia finance website and their awful customer service. This was my first Kia/Hyundai and my last and I'm not afraid of telling people about it.

I am really disappointed with their customer service and product. I was dealing with London Kia on Wharncliffe Rd S. The service team is absolutely terrible. There is no sense of urgency, they were giving me the runaround and their customer service skills are nonexistent.I will never purchase another Kia ever again.

Kia the worst company in this business. It does not support customer, my car is in Plaza kia Richmond Hill dealership since 2 weeks ago for transmission issue and Kia canada has not approved it yet. It is 2022 Rio and has been driven 27000 km. Kia Canada does not give me any answer and doesnt pay for rental car too. I have sent email to customer service 2 times, but they did not answer.I am paying my loan and insurance for a car is parked in a dealership.

I own a 2016 KIA Sportage.I got a check engine light and my car engine died on me. I took it to the Guelph Kia where I bought it from to get service. They said they will run the diagnostic test. It's been 3 weeks.I went to the dealership and spoke to a service technician, he told me that I was covered under warranty and I would be able to get a refurbished engine that has 300,000 kms. I called back Guelph Kia and asked about the fix and when I will be able to get my car. The lady at the service desk told me that my car engine is no longer covered under warranty and that another diagnostic will be done to find out why the engine failed. Till then there is nothing that can be done and I will have to pay for a replacement due to the fact that it was not under the recall protocol.I had two people tell me two different things about my car. Now I'm out of options.I'm disappointed in their professionalism and their lack of communication. I had to call them to find out answers as to why and what's going on. It's been 3 weeks and I am still at a lost. This type of service needs to change its not fair and I know this would happen to any and anybodyWorst case scenario for anyone owning a car.

Never again. I got my 2018 Kia optima in 2019. Ever since then i have had issues. My engine burns oil in 1000kms. I have been back to the dealership many times for this issue. I completed an oil consumption test and it was showed that my oil needed to be filled 2-3L every 1000kms. My car has turned off on me recently at an intersection during a red light. If i was driving and this happened i would have caused a major accident and that is just a separate issue to my engine. They refuse to do anything till my engine blows. They rather wait till someone gets hurt and a lawsuit gets filed then fix it.Kia keeps letting me go without fixing the issue with my car. The customer service is actually terrible. My car is in the shop and they will not provide a loner car. It’s effecting me getting to and from work. Taking Ubers is not cheap. They also do not communicate with their customers to provide update.Never again. There should be no reason why I’m having this issue on a 2018 Kia. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

The absolute WORST vehicles to own. My kia is a death trap. Doors don't work, brake lights & 4ways don't work, blinkers don't work. Since I owned the car 4 different recalls for issues that still aren't resolved. Don't waste your money on a KIA.

Purchased $60K Kai Ev6 3 months ago, problemed with mirror and paint miss match since delivery, after waiting 1 months for parts, I have been told that there’s no loaner offered and if I need a car during the repair, I HAVE TO PAY THAT FROM MY POCKET! Kia Canada referred me to the warranty’s manual regarding this.So be aware that if your brand new Kia has some issues, you have to pay for the replacement car during the repair on top of you car payment.Last kia for me, I would give 0 start, no customer service at all.

Kia Sedona 2016 with 100 000 km and truck started leaking lots of oil. Finally to find out that these garbage trucks have an oil pressure switch problem like other kia cars, the switch cost is 6$ but the switch is in a bad place . Labour + switch + rubber gasket 433$ + fuel return hose 150$ approx. Will end up costing 1400.00$.++ TAXES approximately!!! Recall in the US but not in canada... I have a Honda Accord with 404 000km and changed the switch once and took 15 minutes + 20$... 14 YEAR OLD HONDA WITH ALMOST 0 MECHANICAL PROBLEMS.....We wanted to switch for a new Kia Carnival 2023 Never ever ever again Kia! HONDA 4 LIFE!

How do you think, who's fault? and who should pay for replaced or repair the engine again?Here's the situation:‘’The customer had taken his vehicle to the shop for repairs. The shop placed an order for the short block and did the installation. After the installation, the customer noticed oil on his driveway. He took the vehicle back to the shop that had replaced his engine and the shop confirmed that the oil was leaking from the brand-new short block that the shop had ordered from us. We had the vehicle brought to our dealership and also confirmed that the oil leak was coming from the brand-new short block. The oil leak is coming from the two short block pieces that was joined together at the manufacturer plant. Kia will only cover the short block replacement part and no labor since the repairs were done at a 3rd party shop. We haven’t ordered the replacement short block part yet because the customer does not want to pay labor for another short block replacement’’.
