Imagix - Radiologie Chomedey

My Doctor requested an urgent Doppler radiology for my swelling leg. I reserved online, as that's the only way to get an appointment. I week later i received a call that there's no way to have an appontment for the radiology, not now, not in the near future (!!) without saying why ?The caller asked me to go to any hospital to reseve my place to do it ! Conclusion:Total lack of responsibility, and professionalism to say the least. I'll definately complain to the Quebec's Ministry of health about that !

My daughter’s paediatrician referred us to this clinic for some X-ray, and I must admit that I was worried about going once I saw they had several negative reviews.Thankfully, our experience was the complete opposite of what I had read … the staff was super polite and gentle (receptionist and technician) and we were in and out of the clinic in less than 10 minutes. What a pleasant surprise!

As expected from the reviews, it was okay. 30 minutes waiting from appointment time despite coming in early 15 minutes before. Don't know if it's laziness, the woman technician didn't ask to remove clothes, just pulling them up to expose the abdomen. Thanks to her, I had to change shirt and make sure the water-based gel didn't also get on my pants and boxers. She was a bit cold too. I understand it may become mundane doing the same routine patient after patient, as I always say, especially in the medical field, one should be more compassionate when taking care of people/patients. The agent that booked me the appointment said I normally should have undressed almost entirely. Thankfully I wasn't wearing any fancy or dress clothes. I'm neither dissatisfied nor satisfied, just not really looking forward to coming back for another ultrasound.

My 9 months old baby had a chest x-ray today. She had cough and fever.The test was done by a VERY MEAN, CRUEL, AGGRESSIVE technician who intended to hurt my baby while making her sit-down to do the test and fastened the safety straps on her belly until she cried and didn't stop, then pulled cruelly her hands up and asked me ro keep her in that position. I shouted on her and asked her to stop touching my kid and took my baby back in my hands until she calm down and didn't ever let her come closer until I left and I told all people in the waiting area about how bad she is! Such person should be punished and never be allowed to practice again!

Worst bedside manner. They rush you in, rush you out. Tried to ask questions and was dismissed. I did not feel well taken care of. I've been waiting for an appointment for over 3 months.

I've been trying to call for an appointment for days! I can never reach anyone. I wait and and wait but there's never anyone answering the phone. And I cannot take the appointment online because it's an echocardiogram. We call private places to avoid waiting time but I guess it doesn't change anything. This province's health system is all over the place. It's chaos.

I went yesterday to get my first prenatal ultrasound, first pregnancy. They were very punctual, but wanted to charge extra for literally everything. We paid for the things we needed and went on to the appointment right on time. The radiologist shared some information about the baby, but not enough to let us understand what’s going on. We weren’t even told how many heartbeats per minute, etc. Towards the end of the ultrasound I asked the radiologist where we would get the print out of the ultrasound. My partner and I were very excited to have this memento of our first child. Well, the radiologist said she “forgot” and that she would give us a CD, but to wait for her and she would come back to let us know about getting the picture done in another room, but we’d have to wait. We said we would wait because we really wanted it and she said she would be right back. We were there waiting as instructed, and the nurse comes in to the room and asks us to leave because she needs the room. We told her we were asked to wait and she pressed on very rudely for us to leave. So we went to the front desk to ask for the picture and the CD. The gentleman at the front desk handed us a CD, but turned us down for the picture very rudely. We explained the situation calmly and said we didn’t mind waiting as long as we had to, we understood the room was busy, but they just instructed us to make another appointment. So, basically they wanted us to pay 240$ AGAIN just because they forgot to get us our print out. They also said we would have to pay separately to get the picture printed, which we were not even told when we checked in. They gave us the CD and told us to just print it out at Jean Coutu. We went to JC downstairs and of course, the CD was empty! My partner went back upstairs and told them about the issue. They instructed him that he needed special software to download everything! The staff’s treatment put a very sour note on our first time seeing our little baby and made getting some bad news even worse. I do not recommend going here unless you want to pay an arm and a leg for bad and incomplete service. The people who work here need to understand they work in healthcare and treatment of patients is very important. Absolutely not going back.

Worst experience ever. Rude nurses!!! I went with my mother to get her bone density check up done. The lady nurse was super rude did not even listen to my mother’s concern and said she won’t perform any x-ray. My mother was quit taken aback as she has never got such experience in past. Would highly appreciate if one could also teach humanity to such individuals.

It's been over 3 hours and I'm still waiting. They say it's because they have to pass the kids first which I can understand but some older ones have been waiting longer than me... And some of us are in a lot of pain. Then they pass all the ones with appointments. If they can't handle the volume of walk-ins they need to forego the practice and just go by appointment. Stop promoting it because it's an ordeal. You can't even handle the volume of scheduled appointments because they are waiting a while as well. Receptionists are apathetic. Do not recommend this location terribly managed.

Went there for an xray. The tech was rude and not caring. I asked her when the xray will be sent and she said “you can go”! What kind of service is this. Avoid!
