Dog Sense Day Care & Grooming

Decker is home from his bath, he says it’s very tiring,all that standing. Mummy & Daddy are very happy with the outcome, We have our white dog back, thank you to Helen and her team for the outstanding job and to Susan for being so accommodating!!!

We used to clip our dog's nails at home. The dog was never a fan. Lol. Clipper broke and we decided to go to Dog Sense. Great decision. Quick, gentle and easy. The dog seemed to love it. Price is reasonable too. Going to be a regular visit now.

Cancelled my appointment for no reason. I go in to my appointment and they tell me that the manager has cancelled our dogs grooming. POOR SERVICE from this business. We have had this appointment scheduled for 1 month. Never taking my dog here. Manager needs to go.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!I am extremely disappointed at everything! I can only imagine what my Yorkie went thru while getting groomed.They most definitely don’t know how to run a business. (Owner) is absolutely rude, has no matters, yells in your face . She also accused me of not wanting to pay. She does not know how to treat her customers extremely aggressive. When all I was saying is how unsatisfied my dog turned out even after I showed a reference photo. They missed a paw when nail trimming, dog’s ears were cut uneven, my dogs body hair way too short they even left some sections with long strands of hair hanging!Her answer was “groomer tried“ once again yelling and super aggressive. To my understanding if I’m paying for a “professional service” it’s not for the groomers to practice or try on my dog and that’s exactly what they did!!!DEFINITELY DONT RECOMMEND.

Penelope had a great day with Dog Sense on her first day of daycare. As soon as we picked her up and got around the block she was already sleeping in the car! A tired dog is a happy dog! The room with the big dogs is downstairs (which is 100% fine) however because it is in the basement I think they could just add some extra lighting or extra furnishings of some sort to make it a little bit brighter and playful for the indoor time. Very helpful, welcoming & patient staff! We will definitely be going back for more daycare dates!!

I have been a Yorkie mama for 13 years. Never have I been fully satisfied with a groom. Occasionally I’d try one and they’d come close but inevitably I was editing it when we got home or trying to be patient as it grew out.The groomers at Dog Sense NAILED IT 100% with both of my little Yorkies!!!! Neither had been professionally groomed before. I didn’t even get a chance to talk about my preferences and she still nailed it. Also, and this is huge from my experience, both dogs are happy and relaxed now. That tells me all I need to know about how they were handled.I cannot recommend this groomer highly enough!! They have a new customer for life!

We are new to the neighbourhood and we found this gem on Google. My girls were in need of a serious groom after traveling and we had a great experience - the groomer was very sweet and my girls were treated super well - they really like dogs here. I was able to watch them playing with the dogs in the day care too - they seemed so happy even on such a rainy day. I already booked my second visit and so should you.Please be patient when you call them as sometimes they are taking care of the dogs and that is their main focus. You can always leave a message and they will call you back :)Thank you again for the amazing work today. The girls look amazing and very happy :)

Excellent doggy daycare! We like that they keep the smaller dogs separated from the larger dogs, as our dog is somewhat intimated by large dogs so this daycare allowed her to experience daycare in a comfortable, welcoming setting where she wasn't forced to socialize with huge, overbearing dogs. Staff are friendly and I also like how we get a report card each day of what she did and who she played with. Highly recommend! The groomer is also great with the dogs and it's convenient to get them groomed while they're at Daycare! Highly recommend both!!

I was initially drawn to the fact that Dog Sense separates small dogs from large. This gave my very nervous little girl a chance to acclimatize to dogs of all sizes. I’m also very happy with the grooming services offered. Staff are personable and very helpful. All in all, I would totally recommend Dog Sense!
