Have been waiting on my damage deposit and pet deposit that was signed off as good to be returned December 6th, 2022. It is now February 16th, 2023 and I still do not have it. Matthew Penner specifically is the worst property manager you could possible ever have. He turned off our water during Covid with no notice while business were closed leaving us with no where to go to the bathroom…. He also left us without a lock on our unit for days that we had to pay for to replace even though we weren’t the ones who broke it. Then when I threatened to sue I got an anonymous check under my door….talk about shady…… He has had people come into our units without notice on numerous occasions and we have now had to go to the Tenancy Board due to his complete and utter disregard for the health and safety of his tenants. If Matthew Penner is the name on your lease take your money and run while you still can!!!!Matthew Penner and Sunrex….remember the names and stay away at all costs or you will regret it

In order to apply for a place I sent them half months rent and over 2 weeks have passed and nothing has come back. No contact, no communication, if you expect people to send out money within a reasonable time period we expect it back within a reasonable time period. How am I supposed to apply for for multiple apartments when they all require a deposit and we don’t get our money back for weeks.

I LOVE my building and this company. The building is always spotless and the resident managers are so friendly. The team at the Sunrex office are so kind, patient and understanding. When I was going through a tough time financially, they helped me so much and took the time to listen to me and support me. Plus having a building that doesn't have a restriction on pet size was a game changer. I never thought we'd find anywhere that would allow us to have our large breed dog and cats.I would stay with this rental company forever if I could.

I moved into my apartment in November 2022 at Kerns apt on Roanoke st . Where I'm situated on the bottom floor is so convenient, laundry room, storage room, and close to the exit doors.From applying to moving in and living here has been very stress less and welcoming.I like that my rent is taken out of my account each month and the up to date communication with the sunrex office is great.Stacey is so great to communicate with and also keeps the building very clean and also my service dog was excepted without any problems it's a pleasure living here. Coming from a house to an apartment they had made my transition wonderful. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a apartment to rent.

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. We have been tenants @ 800 Corydon for almost a year. My requests are dealt with promptly and courteously. The resident caretaker is exceptional. Building always sparkles, snow cleared promptly, and issues resolved quickly. She works consistently and is friendly and supportive. The building is situated in a lovely neighbourhood - everything you need is just steps away. The tenants are diverse, respectful and friendly. I've not encountered any animosity or gossip. The building is dog friendly and everyone seems to know all the dog's names. Management built a large dog run ajacent to the building, which is a Godsend in winter - and it's a good way to meet your neighbours. The building is fifty years old, so it is solid, soundproof and safe. I am happy for underground parking and feel very safe and comfortable here.

I've been with a few property management companies and Sunrex is by far the best to deal with. They're responsive, friendly and quick to act on maintenance requests. I'm in a Charleswood building complex and efforts are actually made to make your apartment feel more welcoming, rather than just being another tenant. Very happy with everything so far.

It's a good company to rent from, just need to find the right building, and thankfully we did. Building problems are solved a bit longer than I would like, but the building itself is always clean. The only criticism I have is that the underground parking needs to be more secure. I don't own a car but my roomate does, and her car has been broken into at least 2 times in the last 2 years. other than this I have no concerns

We are so happy with our experiences with Sunrex Management. We have rented in two different apartment complexes in two years. At both locations the supervisors have been attentive and prompt addressing any issues. Units have been well maintained throughout.I would highly recommend Sunrex!!

Best property I have lived and ever dealt with .. My leasing Agent Christine for 795 sterling is delightful, amazing and your efforts will always be appreciated. Alot of real estate rentals don’t care about there renters but this place is different I tell you. I really enjoyed my time here and wish I dint have to leave but Life happened.

This is my first rental experience after living in a house for most of my life. I have been in same appartement for the last 3 years (managed by Sunrex) and couldn't be more pleased. My unit is modern and spacious.The building managers have always responded to my requests for repairs and questions. They are always approachable, friendly, and make sure the buidling and surroundings are kept clean and safe. My emails to head office have been answered in a timely fashion.The rental increases have been manageable over the last 3 years. Overall, it has been a good experience!
