Ryan is very effective for relationship counselling. He is always sincere, calm, patient, and not at all judgemental. He is 100% professional but his style will have you feeling fully comfortable to be yourself, and open up on issues in your relationship. I called him once in a stressful situation and he spent time on the phone with us and helped us to stop the argument. The JOY in his voice when Sheri and I said sorry, hugged, and kissed with him still on speaker phone showed that it is a passion, and not just a job for him helping people!

I have only been to Ryan a small amount of times at approximately 3 week intervals and I'm very happy with the results of our sessions. He is very easy to talk to and can relate to the concerns I bring to him, which makes opening up very easy. He has exercises and resources ready to go to help overcome whatever I bring him and provides follow-up phone calls and emails. I always leave his practice feeling lighter and with a new confidence to tackle my current setbacks. I definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an easy-going counsellor with a modern approach to therapy.

I have been seeing Ryan for a couple months now, and he is excellent.His approach on counselling is far different than anything I have come across. He is a real person, and someone you can feel comfortable with. He is relatable, and it feels more like talking with a friend, than a counsellor. For anyone who has seen a therapist before, this is a totally different and refreshing experience. Website boasts about having online therapy which I thought would be handy as my husband works out of town and would have to call in separately. Get an email less than two hours before our session which stated we have to call in together from the same computer, rendering it pointless.Editing to update: there was a miscommunication during our session - apparently the two-way call-in is a feature the company offers, however, due to a system switch over the day of my appointment it wasn't available.The team at Empire reached out to me directly for further information and was able to clarify what occurred during that week regarding the system switch over. They also elaborated on the formatting of the therapy session and outlined what can be expected. I think it says a lot about an organization that they are willing to address (real or perceived) flaws and work towards continual improvement.The session we had with the counselor was very helpful and we were able to make good headway with the problem we were facing. I would consider Empire for any future issues we need help working through

I was looking for a well reviewed psychological clinic for my two daughters and came through Empire Psychological Corp, so I called and Ryan answered my call, he was so kind, and we did set an appointment where my two daughters had their first visit with Stef, and they absolutely loved being with her.Unfortunately my insurance didn’t cover their visit and when I informed Ryan of that issue he didn’t accept that I pay from my own pocket, so he just refunded me my cost, without me asking or even mentioning, what a wonderful people, from the time you call them, throughout the session until you leave, and when you have an issue they don’t leave you alone struggling.Thank you Ryan, thank you Stef, and the whole Empire Psychological Corp, and wish you all the very best.Tarek J
