The description of the goods are often wrong. The owner is rude. After over 50 buys spending a great amount of money in 2022 and a customer for many years, the only auction house open on January 3rd 2023 had the nerve to call me during my vacation when indeed they had my credit card registered like all the other Hibid auctions house that proceed their payments like encan Quebec, des Laurentides & West-Island. Since the change of ownership, it’s had change and be careful because they are dishonest. The same day, I picked up items at Encan Quebec and si ce the description did not equal the product being paid, they right a way offered to refund in a professional manner! Two different attitude!

So many fake cards (hockey, basketball) and fake coins ....... very very lame of them

I was given wrong item. When I realized their mistake, I went back to get the problem fixed, I was told it was too late, despite the fact they made the mistake.

Very welcoming and polite, they know their stuff when it comes to auctions. Hidden gem of a business run out the basement of a nice old church in Ville-Marie.Anyone looking for old vintage things I'd definitely recommend these guys! Had the winning bid on a painting. When I went to pick it up they couldn't find it. After 15 minutes they claimed they accidentally listed the painting in two different auctions and had sold it. I look at all the auctions and did not see it posted in another one. Makes you wonder if someone contacted them to offer them more money so they sold it to them.

Good/functional products have been sold as non tested... even though I have written in the paper that they are in working condition they advertised and sold my items as non tested... but all they had to is to plug them in and press the on button if they didn't believe my written words.Shame on you for doing such things. It makes me wonder if they do it on a purpose because my items were for collectors... they might do that on a purpose so they could buy the products for themselves. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THEY DO THAT.My products have been sold for cheap and can't get them back.Shame!!

I must disagree with the critics of this hidden treasure of an auction house. Over my many decades of attending auctions, online and in person, I have grown cynical of the bidding process and have even been told by a worker at one of the big auction houses in Boston that the process is rigged. So, while the presentation is excellent, the outcome is rarely in doubt. With these folks, everything I give them and everything that is bought is treated without interference. They have been very accommodating. I even had my mother's estate moved and auctioned with them. They are fair and honest. All fees are upfront. Cannot ask for much more.

It has changed a lot since last year. They lost two times in a row my stuff that I had left there to sell and made me come 3 weeks in a row as if they were looking for it. At the end of the third week they offered to compensate with leftover/unsold items. Didn’t wanna cause a scene for 30$-50$ worth of marchandise but my point is they are unprofessional. Also, their place is a mess and trust me I have been to several auctions in Qc and Ontario. Not going back.
