KidSkills Pediatric Occupational Therapy

We were referred to KidSkills by a specialist at BC Children's Hospital. We started with group classes and then also joined some semi - private groups, and private assessment to help us identify better coping strategies for our child. Ronit is good with kids, and good at what she does. She has a structured but flexible approach in assessments and it helps keeps kids engaged. She was great in helping us work our school also, and had practical suggestions for the school to help our son. We are very appreciative of her!

Ronit has worked with my son for about 4 months. Within that time my son's executive functioning, organization and life skills have improved a lot, thanks to the effective methods and great skills Ronit worked on with him. She is so caring and passionate about helping kids she works with steadily improve and see good results. KidSkills was a lifeline when it was brought to our attention that our (then) 5 year old son may have a coordination issue. Ronit was both proficient and professional at performing an initial assessment and was also candid but warm, caring and sympathetic when sharing with us the outcomes and potential conclusions of the assessment. Our son was incredibly fortunate to work with Ronit for a number of months until we moved and it no longer became viable but his progress and confidence gained during that time were tremendous. Our son still talks of Ronit and we feel such a great sense of gratitude for all she did and hope that we find opportunity to work with her again.
