Boft Fine Rugs

We recently visited this one-of-a kind store and left with an awesome experience provided to us by Ali, Ignat and Adel. lf you are looking for a special rug with with rich history, handcrafted with unmatched quality, this is the store to visit. Ali and his staff are very educated, and very passionate about the rugs they have in their showroom and will not pressure you into a sale. Instead, they will guide you throughout the special rugs with only a good experience in mind. Great store will definitely be going back!

I had a few rugs that needed to be repaired and through googling we came across Boft Fine Rugs. I called and spoke with Ali and he was incredibly helpful! From pick up, delivery and the repairs in between, he kept me in the loop as to where they were at with the repairs. The employees I dealt with along the way were incredible. When I visited the shop to see the repairs, they showed me other pieces they were working on. Their craftsmanship is incredible and truly a work of art. When they brought the rug back (which was extremely large and heavy), they were meticulous with ensuring it was in the right place along with moving the dining table (also large & heavy) back into place. Their service was 10/10 and if I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would.

My Rug DealerI randomly walked in the store and took a look around. Very soon afterwards I was talking to Ali about rugs. They are functional floor art. The history, the design, the texture...the story for each one. New, used, modern, random! Ali has passion for his work and really takes the time to explain and show what these objects are all about.The silk ones are incredible to touch and the detail. The wool ones beautiful and tough. How these are done by hand is fascinating in 2019.Many choices and selections in this store - on the walls and floors. I thought of a few, took Ali's card and went home. After a week, and a little more consideration, I sent pictures of my place to Ali, and returned to the store. The selections were narrowed down to three. He let me take them home to try them out. That made the difference. I chose one, returned the other two.These are more than 'magic carpets' (Ask him about this). They are durable and really add something to your place. They will last a lifetime, perhaps several. If you are serious about your place - think about it. Or at least come in for a look.I have no doubt Ali backs all his products and has substantial experience in this the business. The staff were awesome - moving the carpets upstairs and downstairs to give me a great view. Moving them to my car and back. Solid staff.Looking for something to do off the beaten path - put a runner on it! Excellent service provided by Ali and his Team. Recently had a Bidjar rug cleaned - I could barely recognize it after Ali had worked his magic. Very impressed with the service! Ali also took the time to explain the designs within my Persian Garden carpet.

As long-time art collectors, my partner and I always placed a high value on finding quality pieces for our walls that told the stories of their makers and reflected culture, craftmanship and tradition. But until recently, we didn’t own a single fine carpet. That’s all changed now thanks to Ali and his team at Boft Fine Rugs in Inglewood. Ali has an incredible knowledge of the Oriental and Persian rugs in his huge showroom. He sources them directly on visits, and treats the makers with fairness and respect for their craft and their livelihoods. Our rugs come from southern Iran, and Ali gave us a solid understanding of the culture and legacy of these pieces that have been crafted in the traditional way for sometimes centuries. We love the rugs that we selected at Boft - the first two of what we hope will become a collection. Now, we’ve got fine art on our floors as well.

Rug number three from Boft. Of course I've shopped around, but every time I end up back to talk to Ali. The selection and quality is great, and the prices are very fair, perhaps the best in town, but it's the awesome service from Ali and his staff that is just outstanding. They all are very, very knowledgeable about the construction, quality, care and a little history lesson in there too. Wishing you many more great years of selling rugs, Ali.

My spouse and I we're looking for a new Persian Rug for our new home. Our experience with Ali and his staff was amazing. Over the 3 visits his staff were friendly, professional and make an amazing expresso. Ali's passion, experience and ability to educate us was both informative and appreciative. Boft has an extensive selection of quality Persian rugs at reasonable prices, and the staff are very nice and helpful. The owner, Ali, is kind, hospitable, and very knowledgeable. Finally, the service is great and includes the possibility of trying several rugs at home and free delivery. I would highly recommend Boft if you are looking for any kind of rug.

The place has an extensive selection of Persian carpets, possibly the widest I've ever seen in Calgary. However, my experience was marred by the behavior of the owner, who was extremely rude and disrespectful during our interaction. It was disappointing to encounter such unprofessionalism from a seller.When we entered the store, we were impressed by the wide variety of carpets and asked the seller for permission to take photos so we could think about the carpets and how they would fit in our home before making a decision. The owner gave us permission to take photos, and we took a handful of pictures. However, after few minutes, the owner rudely and loudly ordered us to leave his store immediately. We are uncertain as to what may have prompted such a sudden outburst.Based on our experience, we believe that the owner's rude behavior outweighed the benefits of the good carpet selection. Based on this experience, we would not recommend this store to anyone who expects to be treated with mutual respect.

Boft Fine Rugs is an absolute gem of a store! The owner, Ali, is incredibly knowledgeable about Persian rugs and went above and beyond to help us find the perfect one for our home. The hospitality is top-notch and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a beautiful, high-quality Persian rug. A must-visit for all rug lovers!
