The website said open to visitors after 3 on Saturdays, so we went. I don't think they get too many visitors as they were really surprised when we showed up. But Nancy took us around and we saw the eagles, ravens, owls, ducks, and the crowd that were all being cared for. It was raining gently while we were there, but that didn't dampen any of our enthusiasm during this experience. Definitely a highlight for us!

This is a really neat location. Nancy and her recently passed husband built it behind their home as a passion project. She told us that they treat somewhere around 800 animals a year, operating on donations and charity. She is willing to let visitors come see the wildlife in her care. It's a very eclectic facility and doesn't look like much when you drive up but the generous hearts make it special. We're glad we took the time to stop by

One of the most wonderful places I have had the chance to visit. What Nancy & Gunther have built here is beautiful in every aspect. Being able to see the animals & then visit with Nancy & hear her/their story was terrific.I highly recommend making the trip here & making an effort to help such a great cause.Thanks again for your hospitality & all that you do Nancy!
