William Schwenger Park

Great for kids of all ages. The splash pad is perfect for little ones. Big park as there are soccer fields and basketball courts. Nice clear walking path for ease of access. I only came into the park from one entrance and it didn't have access for wheelchair or strollers so take a look before you park your car!

Very clean park, never seen any drug paraphernalia or dangerous items even going back as far as my own childhood. Plenty of seating for parents both in shaded and unshaded areas. The new equipment is not as exciting as the old set(as told by children who use it), the added bathrooms and water bottle refill station/fountain/animal fountain is fantastic. Splash pad is very small and will not be entertaining to a child aged 5+, 2-5 year olds will have a great time. Nicely paved circular track around the park that is excellent for children learning to bike or just general biking/scootering/rollerblading. Pathway is mostly enjoyed by younger kids under 5. Large grass area attached around the park great for kicking the soccer ball, throwing a football or playing some tag. Small wooded area attached to the park as well as a basketball court just past the bathrooms.

Nice neighbourhood park to catch up on daily steps. Clean and safe trail. Accessible from various streets. Kids playground and splash park for summer days.

Very Clean. Lots of shade. Bathrooms were open which is sometimes hard to find.

First time here, didn't even know it existed. It's a nice park, nice area. Great spot for a picnic in the park and cool off in the splash pad. Was only here for a few minutes but will definitely be going back.

I wanna know when the splash pad is open because my daughter's bday in on June 23rd and last year at drivers park the splash pad was open and it was sooooo hot

Was a great park. Kept clean and the play ground was a lot of fun with the kids. Over the past couple years the grass is never cut it's a mess. The play ground was upgraded to a smaller set with nothing for my kids to play on. The splash pad is never turned on until July. They added a bath room but it's always locked and you cant use it. Wish they took out some of the grass area to put some tennis courts and some hockey nets and basketball. Give kids a reason to go to the park. It's a weed mess.

Great park to walk the dogs. Lots of long clean paths.

This is my go-to park since I live so close to it. I like it a lot but the washrooms need to be maintained better. And people (young people) need to respect the park and washrooms by maintaining its cleanliness and not vandalizing it. Let’s do our part as local residents.
