Much bigger and detailed packed museum than it looks on the outside! The exhibits were in excellent condition and were worded in both an educational and entertaining way.

Over the spring break, I had been looking for any tourist attractions that I had not been to, and the RAM caught my eye. With its variety of exhibits and galleries, the museum kept me interested and engaged. In my opinion, the bug gallery was the highlight of the trip with its variety of enclosures showcasing various types of live invertebrates. This exhibit was unexpected, and a pleasant surprise for a person who is very interested in animals.

The Royal Alberta Museum is modern and updated, with displays of intriguing artefacts for all ages. The cafe located within provided for a good priced & delicious lunch. A lovely visit for a family or friends with a reasonable entry price for the duration you will spend inside!

It's truly a great museum. Prepare to spend a whole day if you prepare to learn things. They have a huge section of mineral, natural history, and human eveloution section. 99% of the exhibits focus on Alberta's natural resources, geology, and evolution. If you are looking for a place to learn about how natural resources formed in Alberta, this is the best place. They have a great collection of live size stuffed animals, too.

One of my favorite museums in the province! There's certainly a visit from me again sometime in the future. A must see if you have any interest in ice age megafauna. I arrived in the morning and stayed til close and still hadn't seen everything! Plus there's plenty of other fascinating exhibits to explore

Beautiful museum - very spacious, modern, and clean. We visited on a Sunday and there were very few people which made for a peaceful visit. Generally cool and air conditioned, but would recommend bringing a sweater/jacket that you can remove, as the bug exhibit was quite hot

A great local museum! The kids zone is so wonderful to bring the littles. I visited quite often with my daughter while I was on maternity leave. There are lots of different levels & sensory things to explore. And then the rest of the museum is also wonderful! Bright, spacious, clean and informative! The building is wheelchair accessible. Parking is the only downside ... you get what you get in/around the building downtown.

I loved the museum, bugs exhibition was impressive, natural history museum had amazing 3D scenes in the walls, I really had the inpression I was standing a glass away from bears, coyotes and bunch of different animals. We saw exhibits of so many different professions, instruments they were using over time. There were the old cars and planes, we could go in one of the old pink car and take beautiful photos. Whole museum was very impressive.

Beautiful building. I have had the privilege of attending the museum in its former location-where the parking WAS FREE. Be prepared to pay at least 8 dollars for two hours mon to fri for underground parking. Its $21. Per adult. If you show up 1/2 before closing, it's free admission.. great gift shop, and helpful staff. The exhibits are well done and informative, tons to see. I did it in 30 minutes

The museum was good. Spanned two floors and provides a lot of information about the indigenous people of canada, rocks found in Alberta, wildlife and other animals in Alberta. Learnt a lot today about natural and human history. Price is fair to be honest. The washrooms are well maintained. Took some points away because I think, there should be more to be seen and also because the cafe runs only till 2pm. So if you plan on spending the whole day, you’ll u have to plan for ur feeding past 2pm. Overall staff are friendly and helpful. It wasn’t too busy being a weekday.
