3M Dance Works

My daughter is finishing her first year, and like another review said, it changed her life. My daughter had very poor confidence prior to joining dance, and that really isn’t the case anymore. Vada and Bonnie really care about their students, and my daughter would not be able to do some of the things she has learned UNLESS someone was giving her their full attention. When I send her somewhere, I always worry because she is a slow learner that more focus will be put on other kids and it will be a waste of money, but the results speak for themselves. I wish I could show you all a before and after of her dancing and how she carries herself.

I have been dancing at 3M for 6 years now, and can’t imagine myself anywhere else. I have made some of the best memories with the team at competitions, recitals, and even just regular practices at the studio. The instructors fill us with encouragement and positivity as soon as we step foot in the studio. 3M is a safe space for me, and I send my whole day waiting until I can be at my favourite place, with my favourite people, doing my favourite thing. I’m excited to spend the rest of my dance journey with them. We truly are a family, accepting of anyone. Thank you 3M for being such an amazing team to be apart of!

3M has completely changed my daughters life.When she first started, she was clumsy, had poor posture, and I was very worried dance might not be for her, but I gave it a shot anyways, because my daughter always dreamed of being a dancer.After her 2nd lesson, my wife and I could not believe that our child was dancing and flowing with it so nicely. After a month, her posture completely changed and she stopped walking around with slumped shoulders/ back. Not only that, her confidence sky rocketed, and even her personality changed for the better. She went from being very self conscious to very comfortable with herself.It is very evident that Vada and Bonnie really love their students, because there is no way someone changed my daughter the way they did if they didn’t care about getting the very best of out of them.I have also taken my daughter to their summer camps and she always has a blast. It’s always good to hang around other kids that share the same passion.It really is a blessing to be able to have somewhere to leave your kid and genuinely not worry because you know they are with someone that actually cares about them and helps push them to be the best they can be.I assure anyone reading this I mean absolutely every single thing I said. I actually feel like a bad parent sometimes for not putting her in 3M sooner, because she is a LOT healthier now, both mentally and physically.Vada and Bonnie REALLY DO put the effort in to your kids that gives real results. We’ve gone to some similar sports in the past, and the instructors just don’t seem to care the way the 3M family does.Thank you guys for truly being the best at what you do. It’s no wonder I’m always seeing 1st place trophies every time there’s a competition.

3M allowed us to sign up late in the season, but despite that my daughter seemed to fit in with no difficulty. She had a blast and we will be sure to register her for the full season next year.I also want to thank 3M and commend them for the work they do with all of the dancers. They are a talented group of boys and girls but above that they were all so kind and sweet with our daughter; watching her so I didn’t miss her shows. Your kindness shines through your dancers 3M and for that we are grateful and will be back next season.

My daughter has been a part of the 3M dance family for 5+ years and we couldn't be happier! She has built bonds with her teammates and instructors that go beyond the stage. The instructors have instilled hard work, and a love for dance and given her so many opportunities to develop her skills, compete at a higher level, give back to our community, and even teach other dancers. Not only are the instructors certified, they continue to expand their knowledge with workshops and classes to always be improving their skills too. Come join us, we are an ever-expanding dance family that loves to have fun!

My daughter is just finishing up her 5th year at 3M Dance Works and it has been a very positive experience, the growth we have seen in our daughter not only in dancing but most importantly in her self confidence has been huge because of the support and encouragement given by Vada and Bonnie. 3M has become a second home to our daughter where a safe and healthy environment has been created for all children to grow and learn. The friendship that have been made not only by the dancers but the parents as well has made us one big dance family!

I am graduate this year at 3m and wanted to post a few words for others that are maybe thinking of sending their little girls or boys there. I was the first dancer on the competitive team and wish i could be the last, the teachers there created this studio as a family and ultimately created a family through the dancers, everyone is so kind, they are inclusive, and they strive for what’s best for your children, i was a teacher myself there for quite some time and have loved to watch the dancers grow in their confidence and their dancing abilities just like i did! Through dancing at 3m i found my true self and became confident in myself not only as a dancer but as a human! so if i could make your choice for you i’d say send your kids to 3m and watch them become their true selves!

Family Oriented RecitalI have been involved in the dance world pretty much my whole life. I have been to many studio recitals over the years. I have been able to attend a few of 3M Dance Works recitals, most recently, the one on June 25. What always stands out to me is how their recital is all about the kids – 100%. There is nothing in the recital focusing on the teachers or owners. They put the kids first always! This year, they had a student graduating grade 12. There was a special part in the recital to honour her and her six years at the studio. They had a table set up with so many pictures of her over the years, some of her costumes and many of her awards, as well as a book for people to sign with their memories of her. The speech they said about her had most of the audience in tears, whether they knew her or not. There was a dance that the older students prepared and the graduate said an emotional speech herself with the focus on how the studio was a second home to her; when she was going through the trials of growing up, it was her safe space. This all goes to show how much this studio values and invests in their dancers and what a safe space it is. Anyone would be lucky to have their children be a part of the 3M Dance Family. All the best!
