Great place for seeing large numbers of shorebirds fattening up for migration. Aim for the July 20 to August 10 period. Try to arrive within an hour of high tide. If you are lucky you can see large flocks of 50,000 or more birds. Birds stick to their own schedule; so prepare for the possibility that you'll see only a few birds.

Just saw the shorebirds come at high tide. It's the most plovers and piper's I've ever seen at once. Beautiful and mesmerizing. A lovely lookout deck with a kind and helpful small birding community.

Mary's Point Shorebird and Bird Sanctuary Nature parkland is absolutely beautiful to say the least. What an amazing natural gem in Albert County. So peaceful and taken care of exceptionally well

Yes the 'Bathrooms' leave something to be desired. They are basically pit toilets with a hand washing station. That being said , don't miss this little spot. The small interpretation center is filled with information on the local bird life and we have always found the staff to be helpful and friendly, though often are young and just learning the area and birds themselves. Make the walk down to the shore and enjoy the views. Late summer is when you are most likely to catch glimpses of the thousands of shore birds. Spotting the large flocks is hit and miss at least for us. We have always had better luck at Johnson's Mills across the bay but it is nowhere near as beautiful as this shore. Enjoy.

New parking lot and center open during the summer. Great short trail to the beach, which is closed at times during migration. Bring a camera and just sit and observe. It's very calming, in all weather and seasons.

Amazing place to walk on the beach at low tide. Island hopping is super fun, you could spend the entire low tide just walking on the beach here and still not explore everything. Definitely recommend spending a couple hours walking the beach here, just make sure that you get back before the tide comes up as it can move pretty fast.

Protected 2 natural walking trails: beach trail and Grosse trail. Both are beautiful . If you want a more tree covered trail take the Grosse trail. The Beach trail leads you through a tree covered trail that opens up to the Bay of Fundy. Shoreline migratory birds will gather in mid to late summer on the beach. No dogs or pets allowed on the beach . Great place to relax and be surrounded by nature's beauty.

Beautiful area, lots of good nature to experience. Few people visit so it's nice. They are making improvements such as observation decks and a welcoming centre.

New interpretation center is not open this season. Assume that's because of Covid. There are portable toilets available beside the parking lot.Trail to the beach is nice crushed stone so good for walkers and strollers. Last few meters is through the woods so a bit more complicated for mobility challenged. This year the weeds are encroaching on the path and haven't been cleaned up.Unfortunately the afternoon we were there people had ignored the many signs telling visitors to stay off the beach so they had scared away and birds that might have been there.
