Lakeside Park
Awesome little park in the middle of suburbia. Not many people walk the trail. Absolutely wonderful. Wear bug spray as the mosquitos can be brutal.

I thoroughly enjoyed spending time here last summer and walking around the trails. I even saw a heron once! If you don't live nearby, there's parking by a small playground off of Lakeside Drive that always had spots.

Lakeside is a great park. It's not overcrowded, and wildlife is everywhere. It also has a play area for kids. Be on the lookout for the 15 lbs snapping turtles. They are the biggest I've ever seen in the wild. Check out the photos I took!

Great little neighbourhood park. Quiet trail that leads from Queen's Blvd to Greenbrook/Stirling. Birdwatchers love this place in the spring. Small playground at the top of the hill (parking access off Lakeside Drive).

Nice trail for walking. Saw a few new born goslings. The place has a small play area for kids as well.

This is a great area to go for a walk. There are a lot of benches so that you can sit and contemplate nature. My favorite stop is close by the water where the geese and ducks gather. You can sit there and simply enjoy the sight and weather!

Lakeside park is a beautiful little park in Kitchener, Ontario. The main point of interest is a small kettle lake, formed by glaciers. In the spring time the lake is a stopping place for migrating birds. There is a playground and a small parking lot at the Lakeside Drive.

Beautiful hidden Gem in the heart of Kitchener. The multi use path is wide, shaded and in great shape. There are a few picnic tables along the route by the lake. Lots of ducks and geese though so use caution in the spring (we all know how the cobra chickens get around their young). There is a turtle Beach sanctuary, please respect it's purpose. It's not for humans. But a beautiful attempt to assist the turtles that live in the lake. The views are stunning, and it's a great place to walk/ride on your way to the downtown core or just to have a coffee.

Lakeside Park
Probably very beautiful in the summer. There’s a few signs for turtles so maybe you can see them sometimes. Fairly large lake. We saw a blue jay when we went here. There are a lot of trees cut down as part of an environmental initiative. Around 4000 steps round trip on the path. On the way there is also a playground for kids with 4 large swings and 4 baby swings, a small slide, an ice rink area in the winter, and a few other playground items. There is a small parking area by the playground which also has a compost bin!
