Great local, independent bookstore in Aylmer with a good selection in both French and English and very helpful staff. Also good for back-to-school shopping.

A lovely bookstore with French and English titles. They happily order books that are not on the shelf and have a large assortment for people of all ages. Beautifully decorated and very helpful staff in both official languages.

Because it's a bilingual book shop! It also isn't part of a chain. Friendly people are the counter, you can order books if a title isn't available.

A great reason to shop local.In an era of e-books and big box stores, this small community store has defied the odds over the past 5 years or so, and has recently grown by moving to a new space.The selection of books is a healthy mix of French an English titles, with the emphasis understandably weighted in favour of French.There is a young reader section as well.Staff is friendly and helpful.
