The animals are well kept and a delight to see and each exhibit was informative about the species, hints on where to find them and their habits. Unfortunately, the entire zoo campus was littered with garbage. Trash cans overflowing and bathrooms were disgusting.

Arctic Ring of Life - Polar Bear & Sea Otter
1st visit was well over $100 for 2 adults and 2 kids. I was able to turn my receipt in for credit towards a membership (just had to pay $17-20 more). We have been back 5 times since then and only had to pay for snacks. I suggest eating a meal before going & and packing a lunch to take with you. Great experience and exercise. Park is well maintained. Friendly staff.

Beautiful experience seeing the Polar bear at the Detroit Zoo. Could spend hours watching. The kids loved every minute here.

This guy was so active. He seemed really happy tamping around outside and then playing in the water. It was fun to watch him do polar bear stuff

Great exhibit at the zoo! We watched one of the polar bears play in the water from one of the viewing areas that gave us a view of both the surface and underwater. There's also a fishbowl" tunnel under the polar bear pool that's totally encased in clear glass do you can get a total 360 view of the pool."

I'm sad these two cubs are moving on to a new home! They were so playful. The tunnel gets VERY loud and crowded so if you or your kids get overstimulated easily, maybe not the best place, but it is beautiful when you catch the animals in action. I miss the ice wall though! Wish they'd bring that back!

I was a little disappointed with this exhibit. One polar bear was just pacing back and forth where you could barely see him for a while while one just laid there.

Even though A lot of things are closed because it’s not their season me and my family still had fun seeing the penguins, gorillas, and monkeys also the polar bears we’re Cool to see and me and my brother liked looking at the lizard exhibit in seeing the camels I love my experience
