Heavenly Perogy
Have been hearing so much about this place that I had to try it.I really wanted to say I loved it BUT honestly the portions were small for the price ($50 with tax and tip for 2 lunch meals) and both the schnitzels were a little on the dry side.Given all the hype not sure why the place was completely empty smack in the middle of lunch hour.I'm glad I finally tried it but will likely not be back.

What an amazing and unique experience this place is. While visiting Toronto from Arizona, we were told to go visit Heavenly Perogy which was located in the banquet hall of a church. Never having tested Ukrainian food before, we gave it a go and we're so glad we did. It's a small place and the lady there was doing it all herself which was amazing. The food was prepared by her so it did take some time, but well worth it. My advice to anyone going is don't expect fast and be patient, you'll be greatly rewarded by the amazing food and friendliest service ever. The perogys were definitely heavenly and the food was all perfectly made. I wish I lived here as I know I'll be craving this food all the time, and look forward to visiting on my next trip.

I’ve walked by this spot for years and finally tried it. Located in the churches basement, this spot serves incredible Ukrainian dishes. Seriously so good, and may be my go to for a quick lunch when I’m in the area.

I was extremely impressed by this place. I got stoped at a red light and noticed the A frame sign in the parking lot of a church and had to try it.This was an unexpected surprise and I just had to try it.The perogies were awesome and the cabbage rolls were great too!I will say the cost was a bit high but I'm hoping some of the money goes to a good cause..I would probably go back..

Great spot for perogies, although we recommend this as a takeout spot as their is little vibe in the place. It's located in the basement of a Ukrainian Church

I've ordered from here numerous times, both for delivery via Uber/DoorDash and dine-in. For dining in, you order at the front and pick your own seat at the tables they have out. I've ordered the schnitzel, cabbage rolls and perogies. I'd say I enjoyed the meat cabbage rolls more than the veggies ones but I did grow up eating meat cabbage rolls often. The blueberry perogies were a nice surprise and I greatly enjoyed those.

Lovely restaurant hidden in the basement of a beautiful church. The staff were extremely humble and kind especially during the hard times right now. I really enjoyed their cheddar and onion perogies and their chicken schnitzel. Definitely worth trying!

The staff is very kind and friendly. They also speak Ukrainian. People who are saying the pierogis are store-bought and microwaved, do not know anything about pierogis. There is no way to get the potato filling tasting the way it did in store-bought pierogis, and just by the texture of the dough, it was clear that these haven't even been frozen. The blueberry pierogis were delicious and had a unique taste. The borscht was also great. Their garlic bread was made with actual garlic instead of some powder. The establishment was quiet.

One of the few authentic Ukrainian restaurants in Canada. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. We had borscht, Ukrainian sausages, cheese/potato perogies, Chicken Schnitzels and Pork / Chicken Shashlik Kebabs. The borscht hit the key flavor profiles. Chicken and pork were extremely flavorful and tender. The sausages were succulent and smoky. My family and I really enjoyed our experience at the Heavenly Perogy!
