Hand rolls had way too much tempera shavings in it and seaweed was soggy. Sesame chicken tasted like watered down ketchup, blah. Only thing good was the beef and or chicken soup. Do not recommend and it cost $83.00 for 3 people for lunch!

I could just say the obvious. Their sushi is the best in town! But I have to tell the story of what brought me in for my last visit. Hockey's was my 4th try at getting some fresh tuna for my beloved kitty's last meal. Very sad to see her go. 15 years old. I tried 3 other restaurants, they said no. Matsu on Park St. S. got the full story as I waved a $50 in the air and the chef said no as he covered the fresh tuna in front of him. As soon as the server at Hockey Sushi said yes we have tuna, I pulled the $50 out. She laughed and said it wont cost that much, then punched in an order that was only $25. A side of tuna as a meal with other sushi on the side and a salad. I got to have my kitty's last meal with her. A day after saying goodbye, I noticed the fortune cookies from the meal still on the counter. So I opened them thinking let's see what my Bruce has to say". 1st fortune: know when it is advisable to compromise. 2nd fortune: don't let others stop you from doing what you know is right. Heart warming and spiritually uplifting. I couldn't help but take that as sign that everything was going to be alright. All thanks to my favorite sushi restaurant in all of the land

I came here with my family the other day, I want to start off by saying that I love the food here and the whole atmosphere. I love their beef tataki and torched sushi. Their service is also very good, all the workers are very nice and kind. The price for the whole meal was also very reasonable, and it was cheaper compared to all the other places I’ve visited before. Overall, I really recommend coming here as it is quite hard to find a place that uses fresh ingredients and that is price friendly too. Would definitely come back again! :)

Good sushi, not great, nice big restaurant. I got all you can eat and found it was pricey, but some can eat much more than my family.Next time I’ll try a la carte.

Been coming here for more than a decade. The food has always been good.Downside is it’s incredibly expensive compared to other local all-you-can-eat sushi joints and they will cut you off without saying a word (especially in a larger group) if they think you are eating too much.

The sushi was really good, with great portions and variety. The service was very prompt and the staff were very friendly. My only complaints are; the chairs were all ripped and tattered, and there was an old dirty fish tank right at the front door

Slow service if any at all, food arrived that should have gone to another table, prices are insane for the amount of food you get and it's cold and gloomy in there. Idk I feel like the experience could be better, the service for sure esp for the insanity of the price.

I'd like to preface this by saying that I'm not one to leave bad reviews I worked in a restaurant for a long time and I know how much it hurts morale. We wanted to try a new sushi place as we normally go to Madoi sushi downtown, this place looked great online. We got there and proceeded to order rolls and cheese wontons, the food started out being okay quality. But, after the first round of food being dropped off the quality got worse and worse. I ordered Philadelphia rolls and salmon avacado rolls and it seemed as if the food was made days ago. Metro sushi is better in my opinion. This was the first and last time I'd come here, I will stick with my normal sushi place.
