The staff are all so friendly and helpful.Also, the selection of food, toys, and collars/leashes can’t be beat; this is where we trust to go for our little doggo.Lastly, I want to acknowledge how grateful I was when the store let me exchange a harness that I purchased in error (wrong size) without a receipt.You have a loyal customer for years to come!

3 or 4 different times I go in to get the big raw foods for my cats they are always out of stock today it was a Monday Truck doesn't come till Thursday keep mentioning it to the staff about the ordering but it's been months it's obvious they couldn't care less pretty disappointing service for advertising local

We always preferred Pet Valu when we lived in Ontario, but have started to buy from Ren's here instead, even though it's 15min longer of a drive.We often find that the items we need regularly are always out of stock at this location; why not just carry more stock? One of my biggest frustrations is that we are not very close to any, but this is our closest. I usually call first to see if they have what we need instead of driving all the way there but I can never seem to get anyone on the phone. When I do, I'm often put on hold. One time, I stayed on hold as a joke to see how long they would leave me waiting - I gave up after TEN MINUTES. Another area of feedback is product knowledge - I don't expect all staff to know everything, but I would expect them to know how to use the system to find information. We had also been buying Honest Kitchen raw food mix for over 9 months (its over $80/box) before someone asked us for our phone number. When I asked why, they said it's part of a loyalty buying program! We went to this store literally 4-5x per month. Disappointed, for sure.

It was advertised that they have something on sale, we tried several packages, nothing worked. Staff could not help either

Stopped by store today for a quick purchase. Two staff members at the register more interested in looking at pics on a phone and chatting then acknowledging a customer. Even when noticed they continued to chat. I guess I should have apologized for interrupting them.

Visited Halifax from Ontario and wanted to give my dog a bath before we headed back home.To be perfectly clear, she wasn’t skunked on this trip at all. But I know what a skunk spray smells like.I let the cashier know that the bath smells like it’s been skunked and now my dog smells worse than when she came in. I had to buy a skunk spray because now, she smells foul. The cashier said “I didn’t smell any skunk spray when I was there. We don’t let dogs who have been skunked take a bath in our dog washes” so you interact with all the dogs that walk in…? Because I just walked in and no one went near my dog.If that’s the case, please do your due diligence this policy is followed and make sure each bath is thoroughly cleaned before another pet uses it.It’s not the cashiers fault, but as dog owners, please don’t take advantage of the convenience of pet valu’s dog washes.This is so incredibly infuriating to have happened. My dog should NOT be smelling like a skunk right now.Going to drive 20+ hours back home with a smelly dog in the car. Wish I never came.

Great Service Good Selection of Finer Dog Foods

Staff were great. The supplies was plentiful and so many options. Cant beat the price. They made it so easy!!! My son and I had a blast and will be back in a few weeks for another bath
