Excellent food for both myself and my wife. We'd go back any time we're in the area.

Best place to stay and eat if you are around. Try many times and always the same Awsome service and quality!

We recently enjoyed the hospitality of Le Voyageur Inn. Our room was one of the cleanest I've seen, service was perfect. The restaurant/bar exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!

-Difficulty with getting our room efficiently and a rude owner-We arrived at 10am and went to speak to someone at the front desk about checking in, but not getting the room until the normal time. Nobody was at the desk. We tried calling the number displayed at the front desk 6 times without answer. We asked a lady cleaning whom we should speak to, and she said call the number. We explained we did. She shrugged her shoulders and continued working. We asked if there is a bathroom we could use in the main lobby. She said “if you have a room, you can use that one.” We explained we were awaiting a room. She replied with “no sorry then.” We later realized that there is a very easily accessible one in the lobby restaurant she could have directed us to.When we came back at 5 to check in (as nobody was working the front desk) , we called the number at the front desk 13 times before someone picked up. We asked them if we could please check in. (At this time I noticed the man serving the food in the restaurant was on the other line speaking to me). He said he was coming to me right away. He however started walking the other direction. I mentioned that I was at the front desk and he was actually walking away from us. He responded with “oh yes”, then hung up. He did eventually come to assist us checking in. We received our two rooms. One room was cleaned. The second room was not clean since last people were there. Again I had to try to get ahold of someone at the desk to assist us. When I did, they did send one promptly to clean it. I asked if it was possible to just switch to a different room as it had been a long day and I was hoping to just get cleaned up and go for supper. They said no and that the place was sold out. (Nobody in the room beside us all night). The person I spoke to asked if I would like to speak to the owner to discuss other options. I said sure that would be great. The man went to get the owner. He returned and said she was too busy to speak to me. I asked when would she have time. He wasn’t sure, so I left my number and headed to see if my room was ready. Eventually the owner called and I was advised that if I wasn’t happy with waiting, that I’m welcome to be refunded and find somewhere else to stay. I was taken back by this response and I was polite and discreet with my concerns made about the room. I asked the owner if it was possible to get a partial refund, or a drink at the bar, or a voucher for a portion off of dinner. She said she would not be willing to do that and I’m welcome to stay elsewhere. At this point in the day we just needed somewhere to stay and she was well aware we couldn’t easily head elsewhere as I carry around my bags as they clean the room. We were in the second building so it’s not like it was a warm place to stand in the hall while I wait. I was disappointed with the difficulty checking in and obtaining assistance with the rooms. We did not repeatedly ask to check in early, as there was nobody to request this from at the front desk or answering phone. We definitely would have requested it if it was an option, but we also respectfully understand check in isn’t until 3 (not 6).We were offered a refund to leave, but that was all. And it definitely wasn’t 20 minutes. Maybe 20 minutes to get someone to assist us to check in.

This was a super cozy spot in downtown Mattawa for our weekend getaway. The bonus was the Thaï restaurant downstairs, where we splurged on brilliant meals after our daily hikes and snow activities.

Nice little place. We had the double king outside.. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean.Staff were all friendly.Breakfast wasn't anything good, they give it to you cold and you have to reheat in the morning..But the food in the restaurant more than makes up for that, delicious.Would definitely reccomend for any type of stay....

I love the staff here. They're so helpful and kind! The hotel is very clean. It's small and intimate. Such a nice stay!

I really enjoyed this place. The lady, Sue I think is her name, I believe she is the owner. Very kind, and is also the server for the restaurant. The food was great, I ordered twice while there. The only issue for me was the flies in my room. I killed about 6 in 2 days. Little and big ones. No idea where they were coming from. The floor was a bit spongy in spots. New subflooring is definitely needed. The mattress could be a bit more comfortable. Would stay again for sure if I'm in the area.
