Bujinkan Hakubai-kan Dojo

I've spent a few years learning from the instructor Andy Duong, and I can confidently say that my time here has always been excellent. He's extremely dedicated to self improvement and spends most of his time training and attending martial arts classes himself, as he not only practices ninjutsu, but also practices boxing and Niten Ichi Ryu. He also makes an effort to make trips to Japan to learn from the Dai-Shihan in the Bujinkan. On top of this, he has a natural aptitude for teaching. He is able to quickly troubleshoot whenever his students struggle with a technique, and finds trends on where they can improve. If you're looking for a place to practice Bujinkan Ninjutsu or even just try something new, I highly recommend this dojo!

I attended this dojo with no prior experience in Bujinkan or any other martial arts. Although I was initially apprehensive about trying something so far out of my comfort zone, I found the lessons very rewarding and went away from each session feeling accomplished. The instructor, Andy Duong, meets each student at wherever their skill level is; I have never experienced him be anything other than patient and supportive. I would wholeheartedly recommend this dojo to anybody with even a passing interest in practicing this martial art - a fantastic experience!
