The food was good, the service was ok. We were there at Saturday noon and the place was empty. Nice place.

Great place to grab food, hang out and study. Staff is super friendly and kind. They gave us the wifi password, let us stay for a few hours and study while we snacked on delicious tandoori chicken!

My son (age 10) has declared that Handi has the best Butter Chicken in the WORLD. Mind you, he has only eaten Butter Chicken in Southern BC. But some day, I will take him to India to validate this statement. So wait dor an update to this declarationAnd as for me, I have tried most dishes and have never been disappointed.

Handi's has a nice spacious atmosphere, and it was a nice warm refuge on a rainy afternoon. The service was friendly, professional, and prompt.The lunch special was satisfying and had enjoyable flavours! The lentil soup was rich and flavourful and the naan was perfect.

Looked like a nice place. Server was nice. But food was only average.The naan was really good. Their curries had good flavours, but lacks dimension. Cucumbers in their salad was dry, which affected their visual appeal. Serving temperature of the curry and rice should be warmer.Overall an ok experience. The server seemed a little inexperienced, but she tries. She lacked confidence, but was attentive (she'll get better with experience). This place has potential.

Service - 5 *Food - 2.5*Ambiance- 3*I purchased the dinner special. It was a good deal if you are new to Indian food and want a variety of different food to try out. You get a salad, a nann, rice, black dal, dessert and a curry of your choice.The food portion for take out was smaller than dine in, hence the price difference. The dal was flavorful but too sweet. I selected mutter paneer. The curry again was sweet but the paneer was good, it didn't seem like frozen paneer. Rice was nicely done and nann was average.If you are doing a group order, get the items individually, if you are alone and just want to get a set meal, the dinner or lunch special is a good choice.

The owners of this restaurant are so friendly, and their food is delicious. My friend and I went in for a quick bite and tried the Indian chai, vegetable pakora, and samosa with chickpea curry & mint sauce. It was spectacular! I don't eat much Indian food, but this place was by far the best I'd found near West Broadway. Definitely worth a visit!

Handi Grill
I bought dinner tonight from Handi Grill and went to pick it up on my bike. I made the mistake of placing it incorrectly in my bag and it spilt everywhere. The owners quickly came to my rescue and replaced the part of my order that split. Not only do they make amazing Indian food but they have outstanding customer service!
