Saskatoon Light and Power

I'm so happy I called! The young lady on the phone helped me with every detail. She was cheerful, kind and respectful. As a new customer, I feel very satisfied.

So theres a construction area on Caen street. This truck decided to park on my grass. I try and maintain it at my own cost and time, same as everyone else. The difference is that these drivers don't seem to understand the difference between grass and asphalt. Either that or its a complete disregard for the home owners property. I would like to have the address of the driver so that I in turn could park a heavy truck on his lawn. I suspect he would not be happy about it either. You can see by the photos that it had a load of gravel in it. Increasing the weight of the entire vehicle that has dual tires on the rear of the truck. It rained over night and the ground is moist and soft. There will be divots where this driver chose to park. Who gets stuck fixing that? The home owner. NOT GOOD. This is unprofessional and ignorant.

Saskatoon light /power cleaned up low wires through our yard. And the nabours moved transformers . New poles love our safe back yard with wires up and not through our yard”. Great job. Thank you power crew and corporate management.

January 13th 2021... extreme winds and heavy wet snow rip through Saskatoon. Our home lost power but when we looked out the window, nobody else on our block did. Confused we flipped breakers and nothing seemed to work. Just before midnight I called the 24hr support line. The dispatcher was very kind, helpful, and sent a crew to our home. Within an hour (during a wicked storm I might add) a crew in truck 1318B" had the power back up in minutes upon arrival. We just wanted to say THANK YOU to the men and women that "keep the lights on". Sincerely."

I was extremely pleasantly surprised by the service I received on the phone. I do not typically expect much in the ways of service and friendliness from public services (just based on past experience). However, the woman I spoke with was incredibly kind, courteous, and helpful. It is really nice to have people like her helping serve our community. If you are at Light & Power and reading this, keep up the great work! :)
