Irish Linen Stores

I went here looking for linen tea towels. The assortment was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable. The owner, Maura, is a lovely lady from Galway who knows this business inside and out. She and her store were charming and a great place to visit in this city. Exceptional service, really above and beyond. Story: when I was applying for Irish citizenship in 2020 I saw a wonderful towel in their window and promised myself that if I got my citizenship I would come back for it. Well, more than two and a half years later I was approved citizenship, so I went down to see if they might recognize the towel from the picture when I saw it. The kind woman working there was extremely courteous, looking at my photo, identifying the maker quickly, but knowing they no longer carried that style. She was also very helpful in showing me other linens that caught my eye. She had me send her a text with the photo, promising to look into it. No more than two days later I received a text back, telling me the name of the weaver, the particular style I had pictured, that it had been discontinued in 2019, as well as a link to find it for purchase online! I was blown away! Very thankful! So now I am waiting to receive my long awaited tea towel with many thanks. Highly recommended!

A very nice old fashioned store. Receipts are calculated and written by hand. Accept credit cards and tap payment. I bought pure linen glass cloths which I've been looking for for a long time.
