Lake Lowell Animal Rescue

There are so many animals that need to be rescued and this agency does an amazing job at finding a loving home for these wonderful cats that need love. I filled out the application and in less than a week we were told they have 2 sisters that we had our eye on. We met our Sweetheart kitties at their foster home! It was a lot better to see them in a home rather than in a cage. It breaks my heart to see cats in there like that. These animals have a character and a personality. They are God's gift to us I feel. I've never felt such unconditional love before like I have with these beautiful wonderful cats! The agency was in constant contact throughout the whole process and were such wonderful people to meet. They asked me if I would send them pictures and in 2 days i was able to get some amazing pictures even though its only been 2 days and these cats are comfortable already! They are so sweet and loving. Purring and flopping to be petted. I am loving life! I am so happy that I get to enjoy them for the rest of their lives!

Lake Lowell Animal Rescue was amazing to work with for our last rescue effort. They are a small group - but they are mighty in their rescue efforts and dedication to animals. We have adopted two dogs from LLAR.

You'll have better luck adopting a child than a pet from here. They'll want to know every pet you've ever owned and why you no longer have them. They will judge every aspect of your life. And if you don't meet the committees high standards good luck getting a pet from them. Even if you get past their picky preadoption process you have to sign a ridiculous post adoption approval form. Which basically says at any time they're allowed to contact your vet or request home visits AFTER you've adopted the pet from them. They also always have to know where you currently live and your current contact information. And if at any point in the pet's life they decide you're not fit they can demand the pet back. So basically you have to take care of this animal in ever which way but at any point they're allowed to demand it back, so you barely own the pet. I understand they want to find the pets a good home but all they're doing is hindering alot of animals from finding a good home because they have hard to reach standards. Organizations like this are why people are turned away from adopting

The animals are healthy and well cared for through the efforts of volunteers who foster the animals and the work of those who oversee them.

We had a great experience here on Christmas Eve day, wait staff and management both treated us very well. Our meals were very good as well.

I didn't go inside. I was delivering a food donation for the cats and kittens. All the cats, young and old looked very happy. They were sitting in open windows that were covered with heavy screens that were bolted to the window frames. They also had a sturdy catio that allowed the cats to go from window to window along the outside of the building and stay safe. It was nice to see happy healthy cats waiting for a forever home. I was extremely impressed that they really seemed to care and want.what was best for all the animals.

I had reached out to them when I lost my kitty after getting neutered when he escaped his pen bringing him back to my car at vets office on HW 45. It was 2 months and 2 days later and they called and said they thought they had found my kitty. I couldn’t believe they remembered. Such kind and caring people They save all kinds of animals. Great organization

Sincerely impressed by this rescue. We adopted a new family member. He is amazing. The Rescue members communicated well with us and helped it go smoothly. They make sure the animals are healthy and that the new family has what the animal needs. They even give you a free training session! I will probably get all my rescues from Lake Lowell Rescue!

Rescued a pup and everyone has just been so great to work with. Can totally tell they're all pet lovers--we appreciate what you do.

Put in a cat application, had to email to follow up several times, which fine. When they finally said they were sending the application to the “adoption committee” they posted on their Facebook page that the cat I applied for was adopted. I don’t have Facebook so I had to go look when I saw the cat was no longer on their website. I followed up with an email letting them know that I saw the cat was already adopted a week ago and nobody even replied to that. Really unprofessional.
