Went for a friend's b-day celebration dinner. We opted for the $69pp birthday tasting menu. We had bread, salad, pork belly, steak, and dessert. The food were decent. Especially friend's brussels sprouts, which were good. Now comes the horrible part. All of the above dishes had only one plate (other than the dessert) and had to be shared by 4 people.First of all, if they're to be shared, why don't you just separate them into individual plates? One of us had to serve and split the food into 4. (Would appreciate if the servers did this instead). Now the most surprising part is the 4 of us sharing a single serving sized steak for our main. Wow each of us got 2 slices of steak for our main! For $276 we got one steak, one appetizer, one salad plus bread and dessert shared by 4 people.

Very lovely and aesthetic restaurant in Richmond inside the Versante Hotel. Great service and gorgeous plating. I attended a bridal shower lunch and we were seated in the private room. The menu had a good variety and was portioned to share at the table. The appetizers were fantastic. The scroll loaf paired so well with the brûlée foie gras. The winter burrata salad was refreshing - wish there was more burrata. The reason I docked one star was because of the chicken. It looked so delicious and we loved the extra roasted garlic but once we cut into it, it was still raw and pink. We had to send it back to cook for longer. The server apologized for this inconvenience and we got new plates.Onto the other main - the steak. Some pieces were cooked perfectly at medium rare but others were closer to medium. Still tasted delicious. The sides that accompanied were great. Loved the aioli with the potatoes and the crispy brussel sprouts were my favorite. For dessert, the tiramisu was epic. The dessert platter was also gorgeous and we loved the assortment of goodies.

This place is a mixed bag! It was a pleasant enough experience but I’m not interested in returning. The restaurant is in an industrial area without much of a view or ambiance. We were seated at a dark table next to a smudged window with a view of a busy road.Service is decent.Serving sizes are large. The steak dish was alright. Very wet.The duck tagliatelle is just okay and was lukewarm when it arrived. The tiramisu is too sweet and the cream is thin, though the portion is generous. The tables are tiny and the plates almost comically enormous - so big that the server brought out but didn’t serve one of our three entrees due to unavailable table real estate.

This is a super late review as I went to Bruno for Christmas dinner, we took part in the set menu. The food was absolutely fantastic, we really enjoyed the complementary brioche bread. The stand outs were definitely the pork belly and the sirloin steak with truffle mashed potatoes. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend for a nice evening out.

Went for lunch today for my sister’s birthday. Excellent service and was pleasantly surprised by complimentary tiramisu complete with candle, at the end of meal. The foie gras butter was delicious but may be a bit too sweet for some due to the brûlée sugar crust. The seafood chowder was outstanding (had smoked candied salmon in it), the tagliatelle was good, but the fritto misto was a bit of a miss as it was a bit oily and there is better “chili salt” at dimsum.

We recently visited Bruno for their seafood brunch, and I have to say it was a truly memorable dining experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was outstanding. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home and were attentive throughout the meal. But of course, the highlight of the meal was the food. The seafood caviar platter was a true standout - the fresh shucked oysters and caviar were perfectly paired with the cocktail sauce and lemon wedge, and the acadian caviar added a lovely touch of richness. The bay scallop and ikura ceviche was also a standout dish, with the combination of the sweet pineapple and spicy jalapenos complementing the fresh seafood perfectly.Other dishes that we enjoyed included the creamy lobster dip with old bay and smoked paprika, the spicy citrus prawn cocktail with marie rose sauce, and the crab and avocado benny with hollandaise sauce. The Fraser Valley pork and herb sausage and double smoked bacon were also delicious, and the honey butter and furikake tater tots were a fun and unique addition to the meal. And who can forget the maple glazed corn bread with jalapeno and cheddar - it was the perfect sweet and savory combination to round out the meal.Overall, I would highly recommend Bruno for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The seafood brunch is definitely worth the price - the quality and variety of the dishes truly exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Bruno, for a wonderful meal - I can't wait to come back again!

came in with a booking for 3:30 and when we came in they were closing up and no one was in the restaurant which really threw me off because it was not told to us they close at 4. i ordered the grilled sirloin after the server recommended it (looking back it was the most expensive item on the menu). i was not asked how i liked it and it came out rare maybe medium rare, which is not how i like it. it looked like a mess on the plate and everything was practically just for decoration, nothing even tasted good or went together. the steak was so chewy i was unable to swallow it. probably the worst food place i’ve ever been to.

This is a hidden jem! Happened to go to the street market and decided to stay at this place, but the lounge was amazing. Harry gave us the best service above any other place we have been, he shared with us his infusion drink, I hope management puts it into the menu the watermelon margarita " is amazing! Excellent service everywhere."
