Dr. Sandeep Sharma

Dr. Sharma did not properly treat my endometriosis,was condescending, rude and did not properly follow-up after my operation.Dr. Sharmas’s process for the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis included a 15 minute appointment to discuss surgery, half of that appointment was focused on preserving my fertility, even though I was clear on being childfree, he still asked if I wanted kids multiple times. The surgery was done in an hour, I was diagnosed with stage 2-3 endometriosis, an hour surgery is not enough time for proper excision of endometriosis. When I woke up, I received a diagnosis of endometriosis through the nurse who read a sentence from Dr. Sharma on a piece of paper that said, “I have stage 3 endometriosis and I should feel better.” I have had a horrible recovery where I was in constant pain and still am. When I called to ask why I am in pain, Dr. Sharma said I interrupted an appointment with another patient and to wait for my 6 week post-op appointment. My post-op was another 15 minute appointment, he dismissed my questions, cut me off and then said I can either get pregnant or go on the pill and the ball is is my court. At this point I decided to find a new doctor.Here is my current treatment plan from another doctor. Ultrasound done by a specialist doctor (gynaecologist) for endometriosis, confirmed stage 2 endometriosis and confirmed Adenomyosis, confirmed pelvic floor issues and a doctors appointment with a urologist to look into issues with bladder and inflammation. Surgery options which included a 3-6 hour excision surgery for stage two endometriosis or a 3-6 hour surgery with excision of endometriosis and hysterectomy to treat adenomyosis, along with support from a nutritionist and pelvic floor specialist. I am choosing the hysterectomy to treat adenomysis and excision of endometriosis within the pelvic floor and surrounding areas. Other support includes a pre-appointment and post-op appointment where I can take my time and have all questions answered with discussion of risks and benefits.Dr. Sharma has dated practices, if you are receiving treatment for endometriosis, join a support group for endometriosis and really do your research, find a doctor that can provides all options and does not dismiss you.

If there is a ZERO star, I would give it to that doctor! Few year ago, he opened my body to remove the fibroids (myomectomy), without doing a recent Ultrasound and then after a looooong story, he did nothing because I was scared" he said ! really ! why did you start the whole process then?!! Are you experimenting with patients bodies?? I have so many WHYs? but thanks god he didn't try to remove them with all this ignorance of my case. I went to another doctor outside the country and I got a successful surgery. But I won't ever forget all the pain from my disappointment

Dr Sharma is the best OBGYN I could ask for - very knowledgeable, kind, calm and approachable. He performed an emergency c-section (pre-term) for a friend of mine and she couldn't be happier. So when I got pregnant, I wanted no one else but Dr Sharma as my OB! I had some complications mid-pregnancy, but Dr Sharma handled everything the best way possible and 2 weeks ago I was lucky to have him deliver my baby boy. Thank you Dr Sharma with all my heart, you are THE BEST!

I had an emergency c section that resulted in a fracture of my baby's humerus. The operating surgeon did not give me a post operative summary of what happened and I had so many unanswered questions. Unfortunately for me, the next day, the OB who checked in with me was Dr. Sharma. When asked about the details of the surgery, he said, I don't know

Dr. Sharma is an amazing doctor! I went into the appointment nervous and had alot of questions and concerns. He was patient and understanding and explained everything to me. I didn't feel rushed and felt relived leaving his office knowing that I was in good hands with someone so knowledgeable and experienced. Office staff were warm, welcoming and organized.

I went to Dr. Sharma for my IUD insertion and will not go back. His staff were rude and condescending, and led me into the procedure blindly. I was not given any information on how to lead up to the procedure, and felt guilty and a bother asking questions. During the procedure, I was completely uncomfortable with the staff and the Doctor. A procedure of this type is meant to not hold stress, and his staff did not follow through with that in the slightest.

I think in this day and age, some people just feel entitled to having everything go their way. I waited 45 minutes beyond my booked appointment time this morning to see Dr. Sharma. I don’t know why he was running late, maybe he had a patient in crisis, maybe he had a patient experiencing a health issue and needed consultation. Whatever the reason, I feel lucky that I am a patient of his. He is direct yet compassionate. Thorough and efficient and just plain nice. Remember that quality? So what if I had to wait, I appreciate that there are doctors who do what they do. I would highly recommend Dr. Sharma.

Five stars is not enough Dr. Sharma is great and very professional. I had my baby by caesarean section two days ago with Dr. Sharma it was my first caesarean and I was scared but everything was fine as last year I had an emergency and urgent surgery and it was also excellent. Thank you Dr Sharma I am very grateful to you I feel in safe hands with you

100% highly recommend Dr.Sharma!Having him deliver my rather LARGE son December 10th after working a long busy night, he was in great spirits!I can honestly say I had such an amazing pregnancy and I give it all to Sharma! He was proactive with my previous health issues from my first son ( which I did not have ANY with this pregnancy). I trusted him with the medical advice he provided based on covid 19 vaccination and other vaccines and vitamins he recommended.He was always so calm when meeting every 2 weeks then to weekly visits. His office staff are also so lovely and are doing an amazing job keeping up with all the pregnant mama's appointments aswell as being safe for everyone!Can't wait to be a patient of his in the future for our last and final baby!

Dr.Sharma makes you feel comfortable with him. Amazing at what he does. I wish there was 10 stars to choose. I had hysterectomy done and it was better that expected. A doctor can be good at what they do but might not make you feel comfortable. I'm sorry for anyone who didn't meet their expectation. He cannot please the whole universe and that makes him human.
