First met Luc many years back.Bought an amp out of his home shop.I moved away lost touch.Recently found him while trying to expand my system.Then help me expand plus refine my system. Saved me from buying an expensive unit that I didn't need but wanted.It was about what I would get the most joy out of, not what he would make the most money on.The choices available (WOW) from the extensive amount of gear on hand is mind blowing. I can only imagine his home system.He showed me what I was asking about, I listen to it. Then his recommended gear. He was right.Well what do you expect from a guy who lives it. Stereo Passion is without a doubt Ottawa's premier stereo shop. The equipment is of the utmost best I've seen in any store. The service equally rival's the equipment, emails were very quickly returned and the knowledge unrivalled.Luc and Kris did a beautiful job of setting up my components for auditioning. I was left to my own devices, and at no time felt any time restraints on my fiddling around. I cannot express my appreciation for this type of sales. No pressure no up selling. As a matter of fact I was kept purposely in my price range by Luc as to avoid going over it. In order to maximize the listening pleasure of my extensive classical CD collection, I required an upgrade to my CD player. Having done my research, I discovered that Stereo Passion had the player I was looking for. Knowing the retail price going in, I was pleasantly surprised when Luc offered me a better price without any requisite haggling. He also gave me a deal on interconnect cables that best complemented the Roksan Caspian M-2. As transportation was an issue for me, they also delivered. Spent some time this morning demoing a couple of speakers and talking shop with Luc. Very knowledgeable, straight forward , honest and his years of experience in the business is evident - also stands behind the products he sells.
