Our wedding photos are amazing!Mary was able to capture beautiful moments, and made two photo-awkward people feel comfortable and carefree around the camera.Truly one of the best decisions and investments in planning our wedding was choosing Mary for our photos.We were so happy to receive a “sneak peek” of our photos within a week of our wedding and our full album within the promised timeframe.Not only is Mary an incredible professional but also a complete sweetheart who we would work with again in a heartbeat for our future milestone events.

Shooting with Mary was an amazing experience! She really knows how to make you comfortable and make it a fun experience. A lot of laughs and posing direction to help guide you into picture perfect moments. She is able to capture the most beautiful scenes between you and your partner. I absolutely loved the winter theme and the edits were pure perfection! I would definitely do another shoot with her in a heartbeat!

Mary was a last-minute discovery whose Instagram page I was fortunate to stumble upon a few weeks before our tea ceremony. I was looking for a photographer who could capture candid, raw emotion in photos; work in small, crowded spaces; and adjust well to different types of lighting. We were holding the tea ceremony in November in two houses crammed with over 40 people, so we knew space was limited and natural light would be a challenge. Mary ticked all the boxes.I had only spoken to her once on the phone before she came to shoot our tea ceremony but it felt like talking to an old friend. Not only that, but she’s a positive, ball of energy that both our families loved. We couldn’t help but smile when we were around her (this made taking portraits a breeze!).When she sent us our complete, edited gallery just three days after our tea ceremony, we were utterly stunned. First of all, by the quick turnaround, and secondly, by the photos she delivered. It was hard for us to believe that a single photographer was able to move around undetected in the tight spaces where we held our ceremony and capture the variety of shots that she did within two hours.We received her gallery link while we were at my in-laws’ house so we were able to flip through it that evening with family that was still in town from the wedding. It was such a special moment and the reactions were priceless. Mary is extraordinary and we’re so lucky to have booked her!

If you’re looking for a photographer that captures moments and emotions, Mary is your gal. Mary allows you to be yourself in front of the camera and she’s sooooo easy-going. Our experience with her was nothing short of amazing. Prior to working with Mary, I'm not sure that my fiancé and I would have chosen to do an engagement shoot. I was worried we would both be awkward, and that the photos would come out looking stiff and posed.Mary instantly put us at ease - she did a really thorough consult with me via Zoom and answered any follow ups comprehensively. The shoot itself was like hanging out with an old friend. Mary has a great sense of humour. All of this allowed us to be ourselves, and she captured it perfectly.She supplied us with hundreds of gorgeous photos that we and our family treasure. The process was a dream. Love her!

We had a session with Mary at Mt Doug in Victoria BC and she was wonderful! She has an innate ability to bring out honest joy when photographing you. We felt so comfortable during the shoot. Neither of us are used to having our photos taken and she made the whole experience a total blast. Her joyous attitude and giant smile are crazy contagious and she’s just a treat to be around.
