Slowest bank in the entire city. Every day of the week. Every month. Every season. I’ve never waited so long, so consistently at any other bank in town. They never have enough tellers working.

had a really great experience with Caroline. a few days ago she got me a bank draft for an apartment application. the landlord ended up turning me down, so i had to get it refunded. Caroline also processed the refund. She remembered me from before, realized i didnt get the apartment, and extended both sympathy for my situation and hope for my next application.tldr i had a really bad day today and Caroline made it a little brighter. thank you.

I usually don't write reviews, but I felt I had to for this branch. After not being able to find any information online about how to stop pre-authorized payments, and being told to call their 1-800 number (and being hung up on by the automated system), I went to the branch to see if I could solve my problem. After explaining my situation to Keshika, I was met with a snide and condesending tone. I was told that I had to do what I was asking myself online, and I explained, yet again, that I was told, by the website and the automated call system, to come in to the branch myself. The manager at the time, although nice enough, was little to no help. She offered to show me how I may be able to solve the problem myself and then quickly ran off again to assist Keshika with another customer (not that there is anything wrong with her helping her employee, but don't offer to help an already frustrated client if you're too busy). I continued to wait and eventually left. My previous experiences at this branch have been mediocre, but the attitude I was given today left a horrific taste in my mouth.

Nice people work here but the wait times in the bank are terrible. There are ever enough tellers and despite the very long line waiting for service the service is still really slow. This happened again today which was about the 4th time now. I appreciate tellers chit chatting with me and being pleasant. It makes for a nice experience but they need to have more tellers available if they're going to spend so much time on each customer.

RBC what an unbelievable bank. Been there for like 3 days already have managed to waste like 6 hours of my time. Nothing I did wrong, just branch managers not bothering with training their employees more or less. Maybe just employees trolling people who they perceive as poor as well, never know.

I had an appointment with Neeravkumar to see if my credit card limit could be increased. When I explained my particular circumstances, he went and got the MANAGER who helped as much as possible to make the credit card application for me. Great customer service!

I've never waited less than 20 minutes to get to a teller. We pay enough for your services, hire more tellers, you can afford it. My time is valuable as well. Too much chatting between customers and tellers. Stop chatting about the weather when the line up is too long, which is the majority of the time. That goes for both teller and customer. Have a teller just for simple transactions of one minute or less. I don't want to be constantly informed of new services or options for my accounts. I didn't ask for a sales pitch, especially after waiting for 20 needless minutes.

RBC is taking advantage of people during these hard times. They raised interest rates on their lines of credit to 10.19 % which is far higher than Scotia banks line of credit interest rate which is only 8.4. I understand the rates went up but that much on their end, is ridiculous and not universal. When called RBC about it, they say there isn't anything they can do about the rate, their system won't allow it to be changed, so the computer runs the bank. No need for humans, they can't override anything the computer says. Only option for a lower interest rate is to open an application and go through all the red tape and credit bureau. Another corporation that allows its computer systems to dictate all it's interactions with its customers. There is no such thing as customer loyalty incentive anymore when it comes to big business, the computers do all their thinking and acting for them and they don't have a heartbeat, so they don't care how long you have been with them or how much you contribute to their wealth. We are all just numbers to them. Absolutely discussed with RBC and their lack of flexibility for their customers needs.

I applied for a line of credit, they were so nice to give me a call the very next day for the details, but the application time is so slow, it started on 26 May 2023, by Chris Bonam, and even after 25 days, they don't have an answer, I have given all the documents required, they also processed the credit check, but after that nothing, i don't even get my emails answered.worst experience ever.I am still waiting to hear about the application.
