Great little walk in nature, trails are well groomed and there are loads of birds to see and hear. Large path allows for social distancing and good signage on the observation tower. 2.5km one way, so 5km round trip. Easy hour walk in nature.

Wonderful natural area. It was quiet and there were hardly any other people there. It was a great place for getting away from it all, for sightseeing and photography.

Nice place. Next time I won't bring my dog although she is protected I removed 7 ticks and we only walked up to the first bridge.

The landscape is absolutely beautiful this time of year. A nice stroll to the lookout which overseas the marshland. The amount of ducks this time of year was amazing to see. It is such a peaceful place to visit right in our own county. I would absolutely recommend this attraction, as with each season it has much to offer in terms of scenary, various birds, amphibians, right down to the beauty of insects and colorful weeds. Its educational and fun for the whole family to enjoy!

A birders paradise! Many Different birds species can easily seen from the observation tower and from the viewing trail. Make sure to bring a pair of binoculars! Great 5km walk and a nice way to spend an hour or two.

This small secluded park is just a twenty minute drive from Chatham and is a great spot to take take the family for a short nature hike. Take the groomed trail from the parking lot to the viewing platform and back for a 30 minute hike, or continue along the trail to the park boundary and walk back to the parking area along lightly traveled roads ( about 5k total). The trail is flat and suitable for strollers. The marsh contains a number of interconnected ponds that are used as a resting area by migrating swans, geese and ducks. In the late summer this is also a great place to see butterflies. Remember to bring your binoculars, a camera and a field guide. You never know what you will see there.Note: Parking is limited to five or six vehicles

The Saint Clair National Wildlife area is the house of different bird species in the zone. Also, the marsh environment presents a large diversity of amphibia and insects such a toads, Monarch butterflies or fireflies. The Saint Clair National Wildlife area owns a watching tower (two floor stage), where it is possible to see the wetlands above the high grasses. The parking lot is small (abour five spots), and the roads to arrive to the zone are unpaved, so I suggest to reach the aite early in the morning. Be ready to walk inside the site.

Really nice place to view the birds before they take off down south. There were people hunting on the property next to it which is a shame. There were kids there when I was there so they got to see some birds get shot and die. Good times. But the site itself is really nice.

Accidentally found this place, very unique. My only caution is be aware there ARE snakes here. Ran into my first Eastern Fox Snake here.

Very pretty marsh land. The trail is quite short and pretty flat. We didn't see a lot of wildlife (other than birds and one turtle). Still, it was enjoyable and interesting to hike there.
