Cinesphere Theatre
Great place , gently staff , nice big screen. I liked it very much because of the screen , it was like I lived the movie. But , ... , the seats are not that good as the rest place... the one line of seats is very close to the other one. I get so tired until the movie is done. My knees were hurting, I don't have knees problem...

This place is incredible, we drove 6 hours from Montreal to see interstellar and we were pleasantly surprised. This place is a gem for the cinema buff. Once we finished watching our films we went outside to see the sunset, this place is something else!

After years of being closed, it's so great to see that the Cinesphere has been renovated and revived. I just saw the Wizard of Oz here in 3D and loved the experience. The seats and atmosphere are on par with a regular theater. Pro tips: the best place to sit is from the center up, and in the middle. If coming by TTC, get off at the Exhibition Loop stop. But be warned that it's about a 15-minute walk to the theater.

This theatre was the first permanent Imax theatre in the world. It was state of the art when it was built in the early 1970s and still is today. Sound system is loud and good quality. Seats are comfortable.

Cinesphere is the biggest IMAX screen in Ontario, I love watching movies here in the big screen. However if it a popular movie /sold out event. Make sure u arrive an hour early to get good seats, because it can get packed. The seats aren’t the comfiest seats either they are a bit small and leg room are like any other movie theatre and not the greatestOverall I’d definitely catch a movie at cinesphere. Good way to watch a movie u missed or a classic.

Amazing morning walking around the Cinesphere Theatre and capturing photos of different views and angles. It was a perfect day to capture this Toronto icon. Perfect areas for families to enjoy. All of the grounds and trails open to view and enjoy. Great for walks, running, biking and sight seeing.

Keep in mind, this theater is really old...seating is pretty uncomfortable, but it's still a fun place to go, not many places like this left...have to enjoy it while its here! Nice big IMAX screen, right over the water...gonna miss it

Best theater in Toronto with the best IMAX experience. Great picture and sound quality. The 3D is also great. They show so many of my favorites, both newer releases and classics. I have seen The Lord of the Rings Trilogy in IMAX, Mad Max: Fury Road in IMAX 3D, Dune in IMAX, and Interstellar in IMAX and all of them were amazing. Not to mention regular screenings of classics like Children of Men, Good Will Hunting, and The Nice Guys. Looking forward to see what they do with the place once renovations are done. I am thinking they are putting new seats in. Can't wait to go back. There are so many films they regularly show that I want to see in IMAX!

My friend and I went last year in July. We did have a choice of movies listed on the bulletin board and what times the movies are playing. We can buy our tickets inside the theatre or order our tickets on-line. Also on their website, they do have movies listed with dates and times. We did lined up, before we got into the theatre. We waited between 10 to 15 minutes. It's a big screen and lots of seats to choose from. The seats are comfortable and each row goes down a slope. So when my friend and I are sitting on our seats, we don't have to worry about looking over people's heads. They do have Wheelchair Accessible Entrances to get in and also they have Wheelchair Accessible Seatings.I have used their Restrooms and they have Wheelchair Accessible Entrances . They do their best to keep them clean. My friend and I really enjoyed coming here and we are planning to come back here soon.
