Bochner Eye Institute

I did 3 laser back to back 1 once every week for 3 weeks and the third time my eye got infected and I went blind. When that happen they gave me pills to clear the infection and then I couldn’t see all of a sudden. Terrible place. I wouldn’t recommend it I would go to sunny brook.I’ve been blind and struggle for 2 years. I hate the way my eye looks. I don’t feel like myself.

I have been to other laser eye clinics previous to Bochner and have never been as well received and educated about the condition of my eyes until I met Lynn.My surgery took place at the end of January 2019 and I've have been seeing clearly and perfectly every since.Thank you Lynn for your expertise and reassurance with such an important decision that has changed my life forever.

I attend Bochner Eye Institute in Scarborough yesterday. It was a very positive experience. Lynn Mound was the Refractive Surgery Consultant who dealt with me. I found Lynn to be very professional, and easy to speak to. She spent over an hour with my wife and I, discussing my various treatment options. Highly recommend.

I have been a client at this location for over 25 years as a patient of Dr.Lynn Maund. It started with specialist contact lenses long before it was even possible for laser surgery for my eyes. Lynn has been there every step of the way with complete professionalism and competence and attention to detail. Finally in the last couple of years I've been able to progress to Lasik and an implant, and I couldn't possibly be happier !

Very Poor service. My husband and I are new here in Canada so we’re still learning things. We called their clinic and asked nicely if they are accepting our Sun Life Insurance. The name of the lady was MICHELLE. She just answered us rudely instead of explaining us in a nice way. We know everyone of us has problems in life that we have no control with but we should not bring that to our workplace. We will never ever go and recommend their clinic to anyone.

It has been a little over a year since I had LASIK at Bochner. Every visit I had with the staff and Dr. R. Stein was always friendly and professional. They guided you through the process, explaining everything to make sure you felt at ease. My vision was corrected right on target and it has remained stable since. I have complete confidence in Dr. R. Stein and the Bochner team.

I recently had multifocal laser cataract surgery at the Bochner eye institute and the results are amazing. I would highly recommend Dr. Raymond Stein.Every part of the process was done very professionally. From my eye exam with Dr. Vanessa to the careful and informative consultation with Lynn Maund. As well as the staff for making me feel so comfortable and of course the surgery.It is a miracle to be able to see all vision, distance, computer and even reading my phone is quite good.I look at my clock across the room at night and I keep reminding myself I don't need to reach for my glasses anymore.I am so glad I chose to have my surgery at the Bochner with Dr. R. Stein.

I had an amazing experience at this location. Firstly, Michelle was so pleasant in terms of arranging my appointment. Very friendly, very warm and welcoming definitely made me want to come in just because of how kind and sweet she was. Lynn, provided an amazing consultation for me! Out of all the consultations I’ve been to this has been one of the best I’ve experienced. She’s very sweet and kind, very knowledgable about the surgery. I initially went in with the few questions but didn’t have to ask them because she knew everything! Lynn covered everything, I left my consultation feeling confident and excited. I definitely would recommend coming to this location if you’re interested in receiving laser eye surgery. They definitely will make you feel comfortable, confident and knowledgable as well about this experience. Thank you ladies for providing me with such a warm consultation!

The assessment is thorough and they do not rush you. My experience was that they understand it is a big decision and give you the time to consider all aspects, think through it before booking. There was zero pressure to book the procedure at the end of the appointment which was much appreciated. The follow up at this location is brutal though - they never, ever return a call and it takes a good 5 -6 tries over at a week or so to reach a live person, since they never pick up messages and call you back. I would have booked the procedure a lot sooner had someone from this location actually done their job and returned a single message.

Bochner does two things very well. Number 1. They find great people.When you enter Bochner you are met with the brightest smile. Michelle is extremely charismatic and her positive energy is contagious.Any company that knows how to make their clients feel engaged, encouraged and valued before they even step into the door, has a winning formula and are operating at levels far above the market standard.& Number 2. They don't tolerate average.Lynn's gift is her ability to educate in a way that builds trust and passion. She embodies the vision of the company in everything she did. I was able to buy into that vision because I truly believed that Lynn went above and beyond to provide the very highest of patients care possible".I am grateful to have found a company that are as passionate about my eyes as I am.
