Himalayan Village Grill & Bar

What a great find! Where the old Wheelers restaurant was on highway 2 by Legal. Really enjoyed the butter chicken Indian platter. Something for everyone. Indian, Chinese, Western and breakfast. Very friendly owner. I will definitwly add to my favourites!

Place looks run down but they are very friendly. Restuarant was a surprise. We expected it to be not so good but the food is pretty good.

Service was great! The Indian food is fantastic. Well worth a visit and several repeat visits!The staff is friendly and the restuarant is clean. Nice and quiet.

Fantastic food and amazing service!! A mix of Indian and Westren Chinese. The Sunday buffet is so delicious!! A great new restaurant added to Legal!

My friend went to pick up take out from Himalayan Village Grill & Bar for us to eat tonight and the food was amazing! Tandoori Chicken, Samosas (veggie and chicken), pakoras (veggie), butter chicken, naan, and sides were ALL fresh, hot, tasty, and incredible. I will be back for sure.It would have been 5 stars except that I was told there's incense burning in 2 spots in the restaurant and I can't be around it as I'm asthmatic and would react. I guess I won't be coming in, but I will for sure be getting take out again!

Great Indian and Western food, must try..!

On my way home from the cabin and stopped here. Try the garlic naan bread...flipping AMAZING. And butter chicken was perfect. Great service as well. What a gem.

What a great Indian restaurant! Superb food, really lovely staff, very attentive. We decided on Indian food. The four of us ordered the meals for one, then a portion of vegetable pakoras and a garlic naan to share between us - what a feast! We were all very full. The mains were very tasty - I'd asked for spicy and wasn't disappointed, the curry had such a wonderful rich flavour. The food was served piping hot too. Yes the outside of the restaurant is not what you would expect but the inside is very clean and the food wonderful! I'll certainly be back.

What an unexpected surprise this was last night when we (finally) decided to try Himalayan Village Grill and bar ! There’s nothing like finding a treasure this way . We pulled up around 8 o’clock (an hour before they close) and there was nobody there, so of course web reviews it is, and that sealed the deal. We were reassured we made the right decision when we smelled the aroma as we walked in ! Two of us shared the Indian platter and the fish pakora some samosas and the garlic Naan. Everything was super hot, obviously fresh and delicious. It was a feast! Will be stopping by whenever we head in your direction, gotta figure out some reasons now....best of luck with your business!

Excellent food with excellent service. Have a great combination of Indian, Chinese and Western cuisine. Everyone must try.
