Outstanding service. I have been going to Dr. Gafur for over 20 years. I know I will always get the best care for my eyes and my vision. I always get my contacts here and tomorrow I am going to pick up my new prescription transition glasses here. There were times when I had an emergency and they fit me in as soon as possible in very short time.

Dr G.Komarnicky has been my optometrist for the past 10 years. I have nothing but good things to say. Always takes time to answer my questions, I never feel rushed and his advice as well as expertise are unmatched.

The best optometry clinic ive been to. The doctors there are very professional and explains everything well. The staff are also friendly.

Had an eyelash stuck in my eye for over 12 hours and couldn't remove it.Staff recommended a product to get it out. Phone service was professional and reassuring.Recommend this clinic!

Following recent cataract lens replacement surgery I was in eyesight misery and needed some understanding of why I was having issues with my eyesight. My surgeon asked me to have an OCT scan performed of my retina and I found Downtown Optometry had the specific equipment. The office is modern and extremely well equipped with state of the art modern optical examination equipment.During my next visit to Vancouver and being impressed with the office and state of the art equipment I booked an appointment for an examination. Dr. K performed an extremely thorough examination and was very patient with explanations and all of my questions. His experience and knowledge is fantastic and he was able to help me to diagnose the issues. Experience and determination to solve my problems. I could not be more happy with the place.I also purchased two pairs of inexpensive glasses and John who aided me in selection, constructed the lenses. He was also truly magnificent. From making appointments to getting world class examinations a pleasurable experience and worthwhile investment. I found the costs fair and very reasonable.

I had the best experience one could ever have at the eye doctor! As someone who has a phobia of eyes and then suddenly in need of a full eye exam, I was very nervous going in and was treated so kindly and compassionately by Dr.Tsang and the entire team at FYI doctors I cant recommend then enough!The exams were very thorough and well organized! So impressed with the process it has actually helped me be more ease in anticipation of my next appt. Thank you so much team !

Looking at the overwhelming positive reviews for Dr. Gafur, I took a general eye exam here hoping to find a doctor that would answer my questions patiently. The doctor, seemingly in a rush, neither cared to answer my questions nor even discuss the results. After only a few minutes into the exam, he asked me to wait at a place where I was greeted by the staff trying to sell me glasses and that was it. I’d never go this place again and wouldn’t recommend either for others who actually care about their eyes.

Dr. Madelyn Tsao was a delight. Pleasant, friendly and made sure I understood all directions.
