Rent Northview Fort McMurray

The towed my vehicle without calling me the day and time it was going to be towed just to clean the parking lot on a day I happen to be at work and I dont drive to site very upset with northview the dryers dont end up drying your clothes 100 percent and the door is a pain to open with a key when it's minus 20 or colder outside. Also the payment machine for Landry and dryer doesn't seem to last a month without it not working.

I wish there was a zero star! Pathetic experience with management. Let it be the building manager, Assistant manager or Regional Manager, everyone don’t care at all about tenants’ problems. We called them more than 20 times in last 3 days, no answer. Very rude to the tenants and zero professionalism. They will try to find loopholes in your lease to loot money from you. Better stay at an Airbnb at the same cost or anywhere else in the town, but never fall into the traps of these people. Take care folks and stay safe!

The staff at northview don’t seem to care much about their tenants or the buildings they reside in. When I was moving in it was still messy and was told someone would be coming to clean it. I ended up being the one to clean it. The apartment I resided in is missing ceilings on many balconies exposing the drywall to the elements which deteriorates and ruins the integrity of the drywall. )This is also how you get mold...) The northview office is impossible to find as the location hasn’t been updated from behind a McDonald’s without calling and even then you’ll have a hard time understanding.

I rented this Apparently but I m facing problems with lot of heat in my unit, I registered the complaint but they never resolved it yet, neither this building has Buzzer and fob facilities either.. kindly do not consider to stay in Northview property. Their maintenance teams is not that good.. I registered my complaint on Feb 21, 2021, under emergency but it still not honoured. People of management are not interested in dealing with any problems tenets are facings, not provided fob, not provided access number to unlock the main door. They are still providing covid reasons for all the services they are not ready to deal with or delaying it.

I would like to send a huge Thank You to the team. This was my first ever experience for an apartment and was pleased and thankful for all their assistance, support & guidance. My place was perfect and enjoyed my stay. They were always quick to reply & respond to all my questiins. I never had any issues.Once again, thank you for everything & keep up the great work - stay safe !Anita

I couldn't tell you how many things are wrong with this place the list could go on for days. Rude staff is an understatement. They do not care about the people in the building I've seen cockroaches in the hall ways reported it and nothing. They had a faulty heat regulater in my apartment witch cause it to got up to 50 decrease I suffered extream heat stroke with now I have massive health problems because of this I tried reaching out and basicly told that they don't care. I've seen people slip and fall in the parking lot and asked if they could salt or sand for safety and again was told they don't care. Still haven't heard about damage deposit if they'll give back considering when I moved in the floors we're scratch and broken chips of wood the canvise was half fast and had little joins Every ware noise was constant. Seen a cockroach come in under the door from the main hall way in the day time with direct light. Towards the end they were offering lease for 900 with everything included but would only go to 1100 if I resigned. I didn't plan on staying there but they could at least have some compassion towards the state they put me in. I've been hospitalized a couple times with different things regarding this building I will be calling the heath bored. I do no recommend any buddy living here or to come with in the parameters of the building. Unsafe not trustworthy terrible place to live needs to be shut down. Will be informing all friends family and people in fortmcmurray about this place.

Looking for a new place to live? Look no further... at northview. Need a pet friendly unit? Don't worry, the cockroaches and other mysterious insects living in their buildings are friendly and will come say hello. Like having utilities included? You'll love it when the water floods in from other people's units. Feeling healthy? You won't much longer when you move in! Customer service? Nonexistent with their staff! The ladies in the office will show you the whites of their eyes faster than they can hand out an eviction notice". But don't worry... you're stuff is safe in your unit

Visit four times. Office closed within business hrs. Nobody answers phone calls. If you can not open within the business hrs then don’t put them on the website and outside of your office. Trying to pay my rent by visiting their office, close all the time. Don’t waste your time they also close in the mid-day of their last business day before every long weekend. And charge you a late fee if you can’t pay it on time. Sick company. Ridiculous!

Northview Apartments REIT are by far the worst property managers I have ever dealt with. I am less than three months into signing a lease and cannot wait to get out. When I moved in, there were still bug traps left around the unit and it was far from clean. I called to see if it could be rectified but out of all of the numbers listed for NA REIT online, not one of them connected me to anyone. When I finally did reached someone, the property manager acted as if I was bothering her. Nothing was ever done and I ended up cleaning the unit myself. I feel the staff are very incompetent and their telephone manners, and customer service skills are lacking to say the least. The cable is 'free' as an incentive but as the cable installer would later tell me; this is only because you couldn't upgrade your internet if you tried. I wasn't bothered by the ancient washer and dryer in the laundry room until I had to pay $30 to replace a laundry card. They must be making a killing from this -- but it isn't going back into the building that is for sure. At least 6 mailboxes are currently busted open, and at this point I don't bother calling the 'property manager'. The cost of rent is low and I 'we get what we pay for'. But staff and management clearly have to respect for the property, or its tenants and it's a shame. Take my advice and rent anywhere, ANYWHERE other than from Northview Apartment REIT.
