Veranda at The Stables
This is a great place. Could not find the entrance, direction would be appreciated but boy, I would definitely recommend this place, it’s right by the Wild rose brewery but trust me, the vibes in this place is much more cool,Great attentive staff, food was delicious and there were three non alcoholic drink options, I would like to see more though.Beet bread was great and I ordered a queen bee pizza with which is a classic Margarita with San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella, fior di latte, basil, EVOO and Burwood honey. It was so yummy I had to order one more to take home for my partner.

Great food, service and atmosphere! Very balanced menu with lots of tasty options. Work on the fries just a bit please - excellence is waiting at the end of trial and error (you did it with the wings!) Enjoyed our tour by Marko who showed us the building and talked (sincerely and passionately) about its history, present and future. Looking forward to watching this place develop into a true Calgary classic.

When is a St. Patrick's day ☘️ and you decided to go to brewery/distillery, and there is one in the neighborhood!Veranda at The Stables has Great food, unique atmosphere, great time! Food was amazing! We've had sharing plates and it was delicious. I was really impressed with their crab dip, and shell dish, not sure what is the name of it... really tasty pizza and chicken wings.. They have amazing home brewed and home distilled drinks! I appreciate so much that they have medica" (that we had to do two rounds of)

We recently hosted our corporate event at Veranda at the Stables, and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly professional and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our event ran smoothly. Our event comprised of approximately 50-people, which Veranda was able to accommodate with great seating arrangements. The service was top-notch, with delicious food and drinks served promptly and with a smile. One of the highlights of the day was the tour and tasting at Burwood Distillery and Vaycay Brewery, which was seamlessly integrated into our event. The tour from the expert staff was great learning into the process of distilling alcohol, as well as seeing the home-grown quality of the ingredients and processes Burwood and Vaycay uses for their products. Ultimately, this was a fantastic team-building activity that brought us all closer together. We would highly recommend Veranda at the Stables for any corporate event. The venue is beautiful, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the tour and tasting made for a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you to the team at Veranda at the Stables for making our event a huge success! Looking forward to coming back!

Work nearby and was happy to hear of another restaurant popping up in the area.On arrival, we parked in the parking lot which led us down a mud path to get into the entrance. Next time I would likely just park on the street.It's a pretty small menu but has some variety. I ordered the Seoul Chicken Sando which featured a really thin, dry piece of chicken. The Gochujang (red chili paste) and coleslaw added good flavors.The atmosphere is quite impressive walking into the main area but we were seated on a long hallway off of it which was dim and cool.

Amazing atmosphere and exceptional service. I highly recommend any beer from the Vacay Brewery its got a great taste! The food very good we ordered multiple items including the tuna tataki which was my personal favourite! Great place and atmosphere to relax with friends and family.

This place was amazing! The food was great and so were the drinks. Service was top notch as well, they were really energized and happy and cracking jokes with us. Had so much fun, will be back again.

We are so happy that this place opened up in our neighborhood. A very beautiful and unique venue, with great beverages and food. We have been coming regularly since this place opened and really enjoyed learning the history of the building provided by Marko. Keep up the great work, we will definitely be regulars. Cheers!

Great atmosphere! Big space. Huge trees and grass surrounds the patio. Lots of tables for all customers. Lots of parking spaces around the lot. Outdoor games by the lawn. All staff always want to make sure you’re having fun and taken care of. Wide variety of drink menu from Burwood distillery cocktails, to VayCay brewing beers. We tried the Half Pint shrimp and it taste really good. Definitely coming back!

We decided to go for lunch and try out their pizza today. Let me tell you, this is a very interesting place. We sat at the bar and had a lovely experience chatting with Dawn the bartender. What is neat about this establishment is it is a fully collaborative business venture between Burwood distilleries, Vacay, brew company and veranda at the stables. I love how they have preserved the history of this building, which, once you combine it with the food and beverage choices, make this place unique. We tried the truffle pig pizza [vegetarian] and the Rodeo Rancher. Both were extremely flavourful. With only two pizza ovens, you might have a bit of a wait so plan your visit accordingly. We plan to return!
