Countdown Escape Rooms

Lots of fun! I was super skeptical based on the mixed reviews (I've been to some really great escape rooms but I've also been to terrible ones) but we were not disappointed-the rooms are challenging yet completely accomplishable.We originally booked the inferno room then went back for the underwater adventure.I definitely recommend and want to go back for the horror one around Halloween.

EDIT: we were awarded free vouchers for our situation (see below) and played the Wild West room. Really nice set design and fun, but the clues weren't too hard and we finished pretty quickly. Thanks Countdown Escape Rooms!Thoroughly disappointed when they didn't show up - we were excited to bond as a leadership group and waited in the pouring rain for 30 minutes. Sad!!!!

We’ve visited several escape rooms around the Vancouver area, and hands-down, Countdown Escape Room is our favourite! We've done 3 rooms at the Coquitlam location (House of Horrors 2.0, Underwater Adventure and Wild West) and the Wild West (FAVOURITE EVER) and House of Horrors 2.0 have been challenging but VERY fun. Underwater Adventure was fun, but I felt that the puzzles were a bit too simple to figure out.The staff are always very friendly.Seriously wish they had more rooms! Highly recommended.

We did the Underwater adventure and we thought the atmosphere/theme of the room was excellent. However, it felt really anti-climatic as we walked out and it took a moment to realize we made it out and we were standing out in the main hallway. Having done many escape rooms, usually the staff are there to congratulate and answer any questions you may have had about the room. This was further confusing because we didn't understand the ending to the story and why we were escaping based on the introductory video. We still had fun but felt a lack of enthusiasm which killed the excitement of our escape.

Friendly staff and well thought out introduction. We tried out the Western room, and found there was a good variety of hands on and written clues. Great aesthetic and clever use of atmospheric props. A little too much for just two people, because of the amount of time it takes going back and forth from the locks to the clues. Fun idea and great for anyone who enjoys Western period pieces.

Strengths: some interesting puzzles. Good team eventWeakness: really dusty, some puzzles were not as reasonable.Our team decided to take the escape room challenge. For 45mins we played one of the mystery rooms to solve the murder of a hotel guest. Once it got into the room I could not stop sneezing. My allergies went into overtime. Outside of that, some of the puzzles are interesting.

Was looking for a fun covid safe activity to do and came across this place. Have always wanted to try an Escape room as none of my friends have ever done them to know what it was like. We found this place as it was on the cheaper side of places to go ($22/person) and it did not disappoint. Reading the comments I was hesitant as there were great reviews and not great reviews ..so glad I decided to try it out for myself. The guy was very friendly that was working there, very clean and covid friendly. We did the Inferno 2.0 as we were new to the game. Super fun and took us 35 mins to complete. Would highly recommend to try this place out and cant wait to go back and try another one!

We were looking for nearby escape room last minute openings and this place had openings for us. After reading a bunch of reviews we decided to go with their new Wild West room. It was AWESOME. I've never been in any escape rooms where a group is separated during parts and had to work together. The puzzles were very clever and at the same time logical. None of that nonsense random puzzles. I don't know about the other rooms but I would highly recommend the Wild West room.The only problem we had was that one of the mechanisms didn't work as planned and the girl gave us extra time.

Had a great time doing the Frankenstein room. Not too complicated like some other places. Helpful staff. So much better than Exit that forces you to wear masks when you're just with your own group.
