As a single Mom, going through a separation and walking away from our family home was the most difficult time of my life. Beau Atkins was absolutely phenomenal. He told me every possible outcome and was 100% transparent and upfront about costs. I couldn't ask for a better lawyer to stand up for me. He listened and guided me. Fortunately, unlike Stephanie, I have nothing but a positive experience. There were times I was being absolutely ridiculous and did NOT want to hear what Beau was saying ie. knocking me down a few pegs when necessary, but he truly had my daughter's best interest in mind. Although I never wish to go through another separation, I wouldn't hesitate to use Beau's services again.

I booked in a consultation before signing up. I met with Dean, he was very patient. Heard what I needed help with and was very straightforward with the costs associated. Always had the time to answer any questions I had via calls or emails. Made the whole process a breeze and kept me informed the entire time.

Definitely don't recommend Beau as a lawyer. Was wasted money. I ended up doing better without him by using Google. Every worst case scenario is what he ended up getting for me. Can't speak to the others at the firm but definitely don't recommend him.

It’s difficult for me to write this. I would not recommend Beau Atkins at Evolve Family Law as I am disappointed and dissatisfied by his representation during my divorce. At first he instilled confidence in me that he intended on advocating for me and for the best interest of my kids, and I felt like I was being heard and respected. Soon during the process I was constantly needing to continually reach out to him as my emails and calls would go unanswered. After discussing this initial issue he apologized and I felt he was then making an effort to prioritize me. During my divorce proceedings Beau had branched off from his former firm Edge Family Law. With that he informed me that he was going to be providing legal services in a different and more ‘forward’ way. He explained how they were going to charge my legal fees upfront for whatever direction we decided was needed. It was explained to me that in doing so, me as the client wouldn’t be hit with extra expenses. It made sense. In my situation it was decided that my ex-husband needed to be served with a notice of disclosure followed by taking him to pre-trial. I was billed accordingly and paid my bill in full. Leading up to my pretrial date Beau instilled confidence in our stance, and he was realistic when setting my expectations. I was sent an email from him where he told me to not stress about the pretrial and that it was his job to advocate for me. A few days before my pretrial date, I got informed that Beau had to quarantine due to covid exposure. I was given the option to postpone or have his associate Andrew Arguin represent me along with Melissa Nelson who was a law student at that time. Due to the pandemic we experienced a longer wait for this initial pretrial and for me I couldn’t wait the extra months to postpone. I couldn’t wait financially and I couldn’t wait longer with how toxic my situation was with my ex-husband. Beau assured me that Andrew was up to date with my file, and Beau assured me he would be available by phone during the whole thing. I was poorly represented by Andrew during my pretrial. He was not prepared and he did not know my case. I felt pressure by him to agree to terms that I shouldn’t have. I felt unheard, disrespected, and disregarded. Following my pretrial Beau failed to follow up with me until I finally reached out. I discussed my dissatisfaction. He was argumentative. I asked for a refund of a portion of my legal fees as I paid for his representation, not Andrew who was his junior. Beau responded by acknowledging that he agrees I wasn’t represented effectively and that Andrew made decisions without my consent or input for my agreement. He then said ‘I’m running a business, it’s not like I can just give you money back’. He then made me feel humiliated as I explained that the amount I was requesting as a refund wasn’t a big deal, like that amount of money was insignificant. Then he said ‘This is just the consequences of marrying an a**hole’. After a very heated conversation, he came up with a compromise where he would cover the legal expenses regarding the settlement of my family home. When I was finally able to obtain my mortgage and reached out to Beau to take him up on our agreement I was met with underlying hostility. There was an issue which I felt was an oversight in my agreement that needed amending for my mortgage to be finalized. When I reached out to Beau, he responded by threatening to refuse paying the legal expenses as he agreed to and discharging me as a client, stating I came across ‘ungrateful’ and that we ‘seem to disagree’. Which is interesting because he emailed me after our initial conversation with my dissatisfaction where he apologized and acknowledged what happened. We were able to come to an agreement. He expressed frustration and anger towards me stating ‘I’m still paying for issues with your case from my coffers’. Which upset me as he was placing guilt on me as the client for whatever inadequacies that were going on behind the scenes. I have since needed further legal aide this fall and Beau ignored me.

I recommend Evolve Family Law Office Saskatoon. Very much so. Andrew represented me in a very difficult long drawn out Separation Agreement and property split due to the other side being uncooperative and difficult. He stayed in constant contact with me being focused and professional even when I was ready to give up. The quality of work they do for a very reasonable fee is something to pass on to anyone going through a difficult time like I was. Way over the top. Try this law office. Thank you Andrew and office!!

I found I was always able to get answers in a reasonable timeline and Beau was good at getting back to me when I had questions or concerns. The price for his services was fair and far better value than my previous lawyer. The end results were as predicted by Beau and his advice and continued help over the last few years has been great. I would definitely recommend Beau Atkins for any Family matter needs without hesitation.

Working with Evolve so far has been smooth and efficient. I completed the first steps on their website and was connected with one of their lawyers in no time at all via video call. During our conversation, pricing and services were laid out for me and I finally feel I have all the information needed to make an informed decision. Thanks for all the help!
