Hertz Car Rental - Hertz Thornhill HLE

We Booked RAV4 but we got Camry SE as they informed me that I’m young driver so I cannot have RAV4 but the last time when I booked with some other Car Rentals they gave me RAV4. When I checked the parking lot for Hertz there were no RAV4 so whats the point in lying to the customer when you don’t have the car, you can simply say you don’t have RAV4 available at the moment and in last I got the cheaper car and guys working here are rude too

Don’t waste your time and have hope if you’re planning to rent a vehicle for Uber. Their simple answer is no vehicle for Uber. Just you receive a confirmation mail that’s it. But really they don’t offer any vehicle for ride share. Even I visited the place believing the mail confirmation. Even Uber doesn’t have an alternative solution for this.

Went here because the car I rented from the airport kept showing the oil light. They were not helpful here at all. Says they have no cars to exchange and could not tell me where else I can go nearby. Would not recommend trying to rent from here. They told me that they were also cancelling other reservations because they had no cars.

You make a reservation days in andvance, you try to follow by calling a day before you pickup your RESERVED vehicle. They don't answer the phone 5 times I called from open until close no answer. Then you still go for your car because you made a reservation and it emailed you reminding you to pick up YOUR RESERVED vehicle. So you sho up and they don't have your Fu$&+$&&#::ing vehicle. And you just wasted a whole day and taxi and postpone appointment etc all because this business don't answer the phone. Like can customer service be this bad in Canada in 2023???? Wow I'm just really think this is a new low.

Don't trust them. That isfake conformation.they don't have any tesla for uber ride sharing. Don't waste ur time. I drove from Oshawa to Hertz thornhill.very bad cutomer service in the world.

I see a lot of mixed reviews here on Google however mine was tops. I needed a car for a Saturday outing but my personal vehicle had a flat that could not be repaired so my car dealer placed a call to Hertz Thornhill. They had a Kia Rio available. I met Kathan Joshi who was most professional. He did not attempt to nickel and dime me like I have often experienced at rental shops (insurance, extra drivers, return on business day only...) I highly recommend that location and Kathan in particular. I may rent again just for fun even when I don't really need to.

I have been calling for days and no response at anytime. I have been call to rent a car and no one have call me back. And it's look like all the hertz locations are doing the same thing and we as uber drives are not getting car gas rent out to us. All hertz are only looking to rent out tesla to uber drivers and not everyone wants to drive a tesla.

Worst experience with any business in my entire life. I made a reservation for a gas car and the app confirmed that I had reserved a Toyota Camry. I called over 6 times and there was no response. I drove there only for them to tell me that there are no gas cars. NB I called whilst sitting inside the shop and I could see them walk past the phone. Those guys are not too busy not to answer the phone. Drove for an hour for them to waste my time like that. Hertz is extremely unprofessional…!

I had a reservation for a minivan (7 seater), booked and paid well in advance, for important plans that specifically required this type of vehicle. Imagine my surprise and frustration when I arrived to pick up the vehicle only to find that it was not available. The unavailability of the vehicle caused a significant disruption to my day, forcing me to rearrange my entire schedule and waste several precious hours.In the past, I have consistently been pleased with Hertz's services and held them in high regard. I have been a loyal customer for many years, largely due to the dependability and excellent customer service that Hertz is known for (mainly at the Bloor location). However, this recent incident has severely shaken my confidence in the company's reliability.I fully comprehend that unforeseen circumstances can impact vehicle availability. However, a notification ahead of time or provision of a suitable alternative could have easily mitigated the inconvenience caused.This experience has left me questioning the reliability of Hertz's service and has certainly impacted my perception of the company. I hope Hertz takes immediate steps to rectify this situation and ensures such inconveniences do not repeat in the future.It pains me to rate Hertz so low, but I believe potential customers should be aware of my experience. I look forward to seeing how Hertz addresses this issue and hope to regain my trust in their service.
