Big TV, plus a microwave and a mini fridge. Cozy armchair & cozy room. Lots of complimentary soap, shampoo and conditioner. The mattress was extremely hard, I think it was actually a box spring? There was a leaky faucet and stains in the bathtub. Overall, exactly what you paid for.

Very bad experience. The room smells like cigarette and the shower was not working.Wastage of money. There are lots of other hotels in town but we booked online and there was only two hotels showing up there.

Location is just off the higway but you will hear and feel the trains go by every hour or so dont expect to sleep throu the night if your a light sleeper. Beds are sqeeky linens were unclean with what looked like blood spots. And no sound barrier between you and guests above you.Service was quick to get in but he illegally charged us $20 for the service dog ( my mom not knowing anybetter paid it) so I had to go back to the office with copys of canadian laws to get my refund. He knew exactly what he was doing taking advantage of the situation.Bathroom was disgusting needs to clean all the grout and ceiling pannels, specially the shower and tub. the water smells like metal so bring your own waterbottles as I doubt it's safe drinking.Don't expect a safe sidewalk or stairs, they don't shovel or put gravel/salt at all and I saw more then one guest slip (Thank God we were in the main level).All I can say positive is that the heater worked So being able to stop during a snowy night was needed.

The place smells terrible, I could not recognize what the smell: if it was cigarettes, mold, moth balls, it just smelled like hell! The plugs on the walls were arcing, no smoke alarms installed in the rooms, the bathtub was grossly dirty. I don’t recommend this place AT ALL. It’s a safety violation!

i stopped here for a night on my way to BC. over all the room was great heat works tv was big. bed was a bit stiff i think it new so just not broken in. shower was a bit small but worked.

I stopped here for one night during the last week in March 22. I was traveling with my cat and my sister in law. I asked for a pet friendly room. The room had a damp slightly musty odour. The beds were absolutely terrible. One was so limp that when you sat on it, you sank into it. The other bed was extremely hard but also had a terrible dip in the center. I went to the office and complained about the state the beds were in and asked if they could give a room with better beds. The man in the office said he couldn’t and that, that was the only pet room he could give me. He said the motel was fully booked. I there was hardly anyone staying at this motel that night. I should have went to a different hotel but I was very tired and it was getting late. Would absolutely not recommend this motel to anyone. It’s terrible. Worst place I ever stayed and the price I was charged for what the room was like was outrageous! Never again will I ever stay here. Even if it is the only place available, I would sleep in my truck instead of wasting my my money here. I am only giving one star because it’s not worth it!!

Expect the worst and you’ll still be thoroughly disappointed. No matter how low your standards are I guarantee they’ll still look high compared to the state of this hotel and the staff

Chalet Inn Motel & Restaurant
Great place to bed down for a night while traveling. Front desk staff was friendly and fast. Clean and well equipped rooms. Rooms are hard to come by when arriving late so a reservation is recommended. I'd stay here again
