Excellent customer service, from the moment we walked in and we greeted by the receptionist to the hour plus long business meeting we had with Mr. Good. All aspects of our business deal were explained fully and then the costs were estimated based upon no snags within the system. I am very confident in the skills available within the office that I also sent them my request to do my will.

The service at this law firm has been very disappointing. We have used this firm to handle the purchase of our new home in St. Albert. It first started when we went in to sign all the required purchase documents. Multiple errors were made in the calculation of proceeds and according to them and their Estimated Funds Summary documents, we had to give them a check for over $100,000. Quite a chock when you expect to get paid around $50,000. But what is a difference of 150,000. Finally They finally got it right after a couple revisions. At time of writing this review the purchase closed over 2 months ago and the final reporting has not been completed yet. 2 weeks ago I was told that it would be done by the following week. Today,I have been told not to expect anything for the next 2 weeks as they have too many new deals coming up for closure. This means that we will not get our contingency funds back until close to 3 months after closing. It may be a small amount but money in your pocket is better than in their pocket, especially when you have a baby at home and one more on the way...

I used Good Law firm for my collaborative divorce. Michael Good was my lawyer. Michael was very calm and collected through the whole process. He made sure I was aware of all my rights and what I was entitled to. There were many times I had to call and ask questions and he always replied promptly. He always had my best interest in mind and I was please with the outcome.

Good Law??? How about Not great Law? Or Messy Law? Perhaps I don’t have my clients best interests at heart but my own Law.??A SIMPLE and very COMMON line in my partners Divorce agreement could have saved him so much stress and heartache. “Should the plaintiff enter into a stable and committed relationship the divorce agreement will be reviewed”. This has of course been our experience with “Good”Law. Please do your research before engaging their services.

I practised in St. Albert for 10 years prior to my retirement in 2013 and dealt with both Michael Good and Wendy Phillips-Berard on a number of matters.
