The food was pretty good, but the fish was battered a bit too heavily for my taste (which is no biggie), and for some reason our food took almost an hour (52 minutes) to reach our plate. The food portions were nice and it was hot, but hard to wait that long for fried fish. All in all pretty decent, I will try them again to see if I just came at a bad time (6pm on a Saturday).

This restaurant is, and has always been amazing. The food tastes great, the serving sizes are a lot bigger than just a handful, and I always have such sweet, personalized interactions with the workers (both the kitchen staff and the waitresses). Can’t get that at McDonald’s! Clearly this restaurant cares very deeply about making sure that the people that they hire are top-notch because each of the current workers are so cool and amazing in their own way, and I hope that none of them leave soon because they make my experience even more enjoyable than just the wonderful food. I especially admire their perseverance and dedication to making the customers’ experiences welcoming while the restaurant was packed on Good Friday, even when some other customers were demanding and difficult to them on such a terribly busy day. I believe that there is a reason why everybody I know (including myself) thinks that this is the best fish and chips place in Windsor, and that’s because it truly lives up to its expectations. For all I know, this could be the best fish and chips place in all of Ontario! I will not stop coming back here!

Don't even want to rate ..the manager and the woman that does take out shouldn't be at the front part of the store. They are so rude and so ignorant the way they treat their customers. And yes it might have been busy. It was the day after. Good Friday. She was burnt out and the manager just put her hands up and walked away. I would really look into this manager and find out what happened on that Saturday.. I love Pat Hanks and every Good Friday. Buy for the family and all. My neighbors, fish and chips highly highly recommended. It's the people that the problem was

Ordered a halibut dinner. So shocked to see maybe a handful of fries, barely warm on top of it. Been coming to Pat and Hanks for years. Usually a decent portion of fries. Cutting back on portions this bad usually sends me to find another go to for fish dinners. Geez its only a potato!

Way to much batter and hardly any fish. The worst fish I ever had anyware. Very disapointed. PS. The fries were great.

The food portion is good. I would have preferred more slaw. (The slaw was really quite good).The fish was great, but the fries were a bit of a miss for me. Too soggy and not crisp.Probably the placement of the fries under the fish caused that. Overall, a 3.5/5 for the food. I will definitely be back for a second round.

Fish and chips !Fish is nicely battered and flavorful , serving size is generous . Daily special for 3 piece $10 is great . Fries are nice as well .

Excellent fish and chips! Got the halibut and was the freshest and tastiest fish ive had in a long time. The chicken fingers and fries were delicious as well. Great service, clean restaurant.

Great food. Fresh fries and fish with big portion. More than enough for one person. The old lady who served us was very kind and gentle. Would recommend friends to come.
