Well in the Woods

Okay, I’m a perfect little angel and I’m not trying to brag about it but I’ve been told that a lot so here we go… I took my sister for a little shore lunch - smoked salmon, capers, gingerbread cookies (you get the idea). She has a abnormal cist close to her spine so sitting can be quite troublesome. I took her to the well in the woods so she could get thigh deep in natural ground water. Right below the waist is perfect. Apparently it helps… calcium levels maybe? Hard to tell, ground water has always confused me. All in all, I hope my sisters cist goes away.

Parked on the side of the road and wandered in to the woods using only our noses. It had been raining, the woods turned to swamp, it was beautiful and challenging, almost lost a boot, and then we found it. Took a trail out lol. Was the best experience we had in the entirety of our visit to Waterloo/Kitchener area, the appetite it built up made the next food we ate absolutely amazing.

This place has the best sweets - sweets for me, and sweets for you. The Well is both congratulatory and will fill any void from a lack of absolutelies, so if you're worried about it having neither of those, no need to be concerned! Overall, it's alive and ready to rock, Mama! Whether you want it your blues your way, or with a side of milk, there's definitely enough chestnuts to go around. Mememe!

I recently visited 'The Well in the Woods' for the second time, and boy oh boy, was it a blast! This place is a hidden gem in the heart of nature, and I can't help but feel refreshed and rejuvenated every time I visit.One of the highlights of this place is the drinking water, which tastes like it's been infused with a hint of dog. It's so delicious that I find myself filling up my bottle over and over again, much to the amusement of my friends who I went with.I must say, 'The Well in the Woods' has a certain je ne sais quoi that makes it truly special. Maybe it's the tranquility of the surroundings, the chirping of birds, or the fact that it ate my dog on my first visit. Whatever it is, it has me hooked, and I can't wait to go back and bask in its magical ambience once again.So, if you're looking for a fun and relaxing adventure in the woods, I highly recommend checking out 'The Well in the Woods.' Just make sure to bring a few empty bottles to fill up with that delicious doggy water. Trust me, you won't be able to get enough of it!

It isn't exactly a well. The area is an artisan spring. Someone drove a cement cylinder into it and dug it out so a bucket of water could be scooped out. The spring must have a deep connection below the frost line because in my short time going there it has never frozen. I am not sure but it must be one of the headwaters of Laurel Creek.

I know holes and this one was spectacular, a sight to behold! Enjoyed the delicious wet dog flavor, and met the lab that tested it! Disappointed in the mosquitos, they only came out to say hi when we stopped, they must have been feeling shy, or full that day.

Read the many amazing reviews of this well and decided to finally visit it!! Definitely the best dog flavoured water I’ve had in a while - fresh and tasty ♥️

Finally had the change to visit. The well makes the falls look like a creek.. the magical shine over the water, reflecting the different colors of the woods, drawing the dog to jump in.. Totally worth the trip from the Netherlands. Will most certainly revisit!

I visited this place almost two years ago thinking it was a restaurant! I remember asking the locals around if they know of such place, but they all pointed me a different direction!! And I may have accidentally trespassed some backyards while looking for this.. sorry

Never have I been so conformable before. You see, I have an abnormal cist close to my spine, so it takes quite a lot to make me feel comfortable - it can be quite troublesome. Luckily my big sister took me to the Well for a nice lunch and dip in the thigh deep ground water to help my calcium levels. I really hope this cist goes away - if only a large amount of smoked salmon, capers, beans, and avocados could do the cheap trick! Are you ready? Go ahead. Do it.
