Nice folks. Seemed willing to do business for both buying new gear and selling of older gear. They were happy to give me a quote on the spot. I prefer small businesses where possible and have now traded in and bought several items from them.

Admitted they underdeveloped my two rolls of black & white film and wouldn’t offer a refund on the development. No usable images from the rolls. Do not take your film here, $22 a roll for outsourced and terrible service.

I spoke to them early one morning when they were extremely busy in store. I asked for a used camera to be shipped to me express so i could have it next day. Abdullah was a tremendous help and got it shipped out right away. The camera was in outstanding shape. This is a family owned store that I will continue to support. They were all super nice. Amazing customer service. Thank you!

Very helpful. I needed prints for a special occasion. I'm so glad I came here. The quality was great. I've been unhappy with the quality I got from other places in town. It is absolutely worth the little more it costs.

This place offers rental cameras/DSLR as well if you ever need it! They rates are very reasonable and probably the best in KWC area. I got the Cannon full frame Camera for 3 days and Abdullah really helped me with it in terms of not just the process but also sharing good information on how to use it as this was my first attempt in using Canon cameras (Nikon user).A must recommended store for all your Camera needs.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I came here to get some advice on a variety of film cameras I’ve purchased and staff (the man) did not seem knowledgeable of what he was doing. He didn’t seem want to help me or give me advice on ANYTHING. He rushes me to checkout and I left very disappointed. I wish we can get better film appliance stores here in waterloo, because this store is a complete disappointment.

I came across BJ Photo on Atomos web site as a dealer. When I called them to ask/order a product they were fine but not very enthusiastic and welcoming. After the product has arrived, I received the phone call from them to let me know it is arrived. I head to the store and honestly from outside looks pretty un-promising. However, when I went inside and started talking to them, everything has changed. They were very attentive, knowlwdgeable and supportive. The store has a lot of pro products that you can not find even in glorified camera stores. Also the people in those stores are not as knowledgeable. In the end, it turned out to be a very pleasant experience and I will be a returned customer. Thank you BJ Photo.
