It's next to impossible to get an appt. at this salon due to the fact that the owner, Alex, never returns calls for a request for an appointment, (in my experience). I had an appt. for an eyebrow wax earlier in 2018, (Alex never returned my call, I had to leave 2 messages before hearing from her). She did a great job on my eyebrows so a couple months later I tried to book another appt. I left 4 messages over a span of 2 weeks and never heard from her, (even though her voicemail says she will return calls within 48 hours).Forward several months later, (early Dec. 2018), I tried again and still, 3 weeks later, nothing. I even tried going by the salon (as it's around the corner from me), but it was closed for a few hours. She is quite obviously still in business. Perhaps an eyebrow wax is not worth a call back,($ 15)? Maybe if I had wanted to book a facial, (more $), I would have heard from her?Alex is nice enough, and I never, ever write reviews, but it is so frustrating to be treated like my business is not worth a return call.

Alex is the queen of brows. She has been shaping my brows for years and each appointment is better than the last. She keeps up with eyebrow trends and use the most hygienic practices for all of her waxing and beauty treatments. I recently had a facial and skin consultation with Alex and my skin was glowing when I left. My pores are smaller and my face looks hydrated and youthful. I highly recommend Pure Mer for all your beauty needs!
