It was great working with the Ashton Team. As first time business owners there was a steep learning curve to understand how the construction for Take A Hike Market was going to unfold. They were patient with all of our questions and as long-term Bow Valley builders they knew the ins and outs specific to this area. We appreciate how they turned the design into reality and we absolutely love our space!

We hired Ashton Construction Services to build our new restaurant, Shoku Izakaya. As with any new restaurant project, there are several challenges and adjustment that must be dealt with on a daily/weekly basis. The fact that we were building during a pandemic also made supplies more difficult to access and be affordable. The team at ACS was always very responsive and dedicated to meet such challenges and keep the project on budget. Communication was effective and the building was well executed. The end result was fantastic. A big thank you to Steve, Tara and to Jeremy who was always there to help us with many questions and problem solving. We highly recommend ACS.

We have been working with Ashton Construction on the timber components of their projects since Steve started the company.They are very professional, organized, responsive, and always concerned about delivering high quality, above standards products for their clients. HiI just want to share our experience with Ashton Construction. The Avens Gallery hired Ashton to expand the art storage area. The timing for completion was vital as the gallery was scheduled for an event. Not only was it done on time but a few days to spare ! Everyone we worked with at Ashton, Steve, Dave and Curtis were absolutely awesome, professional, timely and trustworthy. The trades they hired were also fantastic to work with. It really was seamless and stress free which is rare these days ! Thank you Ashton we appreciate all your hard work and efforts for us even though we were a small job you made us priority.

Steve and his team organized and delivered a complicated build for my medical office and non-hospital surgical facility. Steve is genuinely great guy, responsive to questions and concerns and is able to handle any and all situations that arise. Highly recommend.

ACS has built-out 8+ of my commercial designs to date - from salons, to radiology clinics, to sports medicine clinics and office spaces. The team that is assigned (typically Steve, Tara and Jeremy) is fantastic - attentive, professional and positive. It was my first experience managing a renovation project of a commercial property in Banff.I selected Ashton construction after visiting another site similar to mine. Steve, the owner, show pride in his work and he is well connected with community of trades. I like the quality of the work and the openness in answering all my questions. I had lots.My project was over 300K in costs. It involved completely replacing the flat roof of the building, demolishing the existing heating and cooling and replacing with new roof top units.Ashton put in place a schedule and a budget and I received constant updates on the progress of the work. Including daily pictures of key aspects of the work. I was able to manage the project almost entirely remotely still feeling I was following closely what was happening.In addition Ashton managed to keep the commercial activity in the stores almost not impacted except for about a week. Which I thought it was incredible.A lot depended on 2 key people:- the excellent site supervisor assigned by Ashton to be there every day to follow the work in person.- the other was the project manager. Who provide weekly updates in very clear emails with progress and outstanding issues and items that would impact the budget and she coordinated the various activities so that things would continue to happen in the right sequence without loosing time.We are at the tail end of the project and I can say I'm very satisfied. Right from the get-go when we were looking for quotes, Ashton Construction Services was there to help. Steve and the ACS team were efficient, attentive to detail, and enthusiastic partners who contributed their expertise to help Canmore Miners Union Hall and Pine Tree Players realize our vision. The project included a new control room (now, stage management can actually see the show!); new hall lighting; fire alarm system; new wiring for power, sound, data and theatre lights; and a lighting grid for safely hanging our theatre lighting. I would highly recommend ACS and their staff. I’ll definitely be giving them a call to help us with our upcoming home renovation! Cheers, Martin
