The Makery

The Makery is such a fun place! So much for your littles to do. So many sensory experiences; from slime making and messy play, to tons of gross motor activities and the list goes on. Seriously, there is something for everyone. Beautiful, clean, new space- 3 bathrooms, cubbie area for belongings, and cute foyer area with a couch for moms who want to relax for a minute while still keeping on eye on their kiddos. Will be going again!

We had our child’s birthday (6) at the Makery. Chose a glow theme which was fun and interactive for all ages. We had guests ages 2-9 and they all had fun! Would highly recommend, the space is fantastic!

Wow!! What an amazing place! We went for an open play session today and I feel like we only explored about half the things there! My almost 5 year old and 21 month old had a blast! It’s a gorgeous space, well organized, clean and creative! Highly recommend a visit!

I’ve attended open play twice at The Makery with my three boys (5.5, 3.5 and 10 months). My two older boys had an absolute blast - they loved all the rooms (especially the glow room!) and ran between them engaging in play. The facility is beautiful, clean, and has literally every toy you can imagine. My baby also had fun exploring toys and trying to climb in the gym. The staff were amazing - engaged with the kids, keeping tabs on everyone, and seemed to be having a lot of fun playing with the toys and setting up play invitations. This is one of the funnest places we’ve been! I felt totally comfortable taking 3 kids on my own - the space is small enough that no one gets lost, and there are lots of staff to help. We will be regulars! Thanks Vanessa for bringing this amazing space to our community!

Dream place for kids who love to play and are curious! You can participate in different programs, they have everything and more to make slime, art, and explore sensory play. Games table, robots….it was easy to actually interact and spend time with my child exploring the robots and glow wall.Sherwood Park needed another birthday party option, thank you for opening!

I was so excited to bring my 14 month old to a 1 hour Play sense class, I heard amazing things from my Mom friends about the company in general (not the specific class, their kids were in the older class categories). I was really disappointed when they started the class late to wait for latecomers and finished the class early. $26.25 for a one hour baby activity is definitely on the higher end, but then to have only 45 minutes isn’t right. The activities themselves were great, my son absolutely loved them. It would have been even better if there wasn’t a total of 15 babies all trying to participate at the same time and 18 adults. It was very congested, and felt chaotic in such small rooms. I would not come back to the Playsense class, pricing was too much for too little time and too crowded. However, my friends still swear by the older age group classes and would be interested in coming back when my son is older.

So much fun! I brought my kids 8 & 10 and they had a blast. I wanted to get in there and play too. Such a variety of toys, there really is something for everyone. They got to make slime to take home after. We will be going back now school I out forsure.

Exceptional service. Was so pleased that the makery accommodated a private moms group. It was super special and rewarding experience. It was one hour of great messy fun that the kids loved. Thank you so much for the activities. I know my daughter loved it and so did all the other children. It was a hit! Highly recommend. ♡

We had my daughters birthday party here. It was by far an amazing experience. My daughter was turning 11 and the host was so engaging and really allowed them to be them. She really made my daughter feel special. I definitely recommend The Makery.
