I am very glad that I chose Modern Optical for my new glasses!I had visited a few shops to ask about a repair to my old glasses. When it became apparent the repair couldn't be done, I chose Modern Optical. I had a good feeling about their knowledge, expertise, professionalism and friendly customer service.They took the time to show me a selection of frames and made sure they were adjusted perfectly to look and feel right.In addition, they combined the parts of 2 old pairs at no charge, so that I have reliable back up glasses.Yesterday, I had a call from Jamee asking about my new glasses and was invited to stop by the shop anytime if the frames need adjustment. I look forward to stopping by sometime.I highly recommend Modern Optical!

I've been having trouble finding the frames that fit my face, therefore I wore contacts 24/7. So, a good friend of mine recommended me to Jamee at M.O., and the service was excellent.Not only did she find me an excellent pair of glasses, it was really a family feel and very friendly approach. Funny enough, the pair that I bought there, I`m wearing more often now at work than my contacts! I really love them and so do others. You honestly can't go wrong here.

A little gem close to Eglinton centre.Great selection of designer optical frames and sunglasses.Went there twice and received each time a wonderful service.Ladies there are fantastic. Will give you great advice without being pushy. Highly recommend.

Booking an eye exam with them was easy and fast. The optometrist was professional and I think the rate is the lowest around the area. The staff are patient, very nice and helpful. They let me take my time. They were suggesting frames to me and helping me to make a decision.

From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and taken care of. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and satisfied with my purchase.Their kindness reached new heights when my 6 month contact lenses that I had ordered were stolen by porch pirates. The staff single handedly came to my rescue and provided me with another set of 6 month contact lenses for free!I am truly grateful for their generosity and cannot recommend this optical boutique enough. They truly set the bar for customer service and I will definitely be a loyal customer for life. 5 stars all around!

Came to have my frames adjustedAnd what can I say? Issues:-The person in there wasn't friendly. I came without a mask, and asked at the door if masks were required, to which she replied 'yes'. Then I asked to borrow a mask (which I asked to pay at the end, but I am not sure if she included the mask in the final price), however, from this moment on the interaction was pretty cold.-Made little effort to try to guide me through what could be done or expected-Was a bit short in her responses-Told my frames could break and made no attempt to provide solutions or alternatives. She never hinted that she would try her best to work slowly. Without my glasses I am almost blind.Please, do not behave like 'whatever' if you break something more valuable than money for me. I do need to see.-It came back, adjusted, which I am thankful for, it's not perfect but I understand that everything has its limitations, as she pointed out there's only so much that could be done with my frames (RayBan).- I paid and then I said I would like to take a look at some frames (as I might be ready to get new ones.) She didn't offer to help or show anything, she went back to attend to something at her desk, and as soon as I touched a frame she was quick and stern to inform me to put down any frames I had touched, since it needs to be disinfected. Well, I get it, but it does sound excessively rude, doesn't it?-I felt pretty much unwelcomed there.So if my review is going to help anyone out there. Beware. This was my experience, would definitely not recommend it.

Really outstanding experience with Dr. Levman today. Quick, friendly, zero pressure, and the intake person knew me by name when I walked in. Best optometrist visit I've had since I aged out of the lollipop years.

For the past 15 years we have been using Modern Optical on the Danforth for our family’s eyeglass needs. Amazing service! Kathy and Jammie are very nice and go through your shopping experience step by step. I scheduled an appointment for an eye test and the optometrist was really nice, but what got me was Kathy's great attention. We came back a couple days later to choose a frame and since the moment my husband and I stepped in we felt like this place was different and unique. We were treated with so much kindness and the best part is that they took the time until I found the right glasses for me. Location is really convenient, close to TTC and for every question you have, there's always going to be a good answer. I love my new glasses and I'm so happy with their service. I'll recommend them 100%. They make you feel like family.
