-Employee misconduct (Lindsay the washroom creeper - she enjoys “checking up on male clients” while in the bathroom.-Misuse of funds (clients are food restricted, are encouraged to use drugs on property, constant sewage backups, and absolute disregard for client safety)-KEEP AN EYE OUT FORCBC MARKETPLACE - UNCOVERING THE TRUTH BEHIND THE SALVATION ARMY -AIRING THIS SEPTEMBER!!! (You’ll see and hear employee misconduct in action, undercover footage of staff thefts, and police reports regarding the lack of care taken after multiple death threats with weapons went unreported)Super exited to be part of a team exposing the corruption going on under the vail of aid The Salvation Army (a CHURCH organization, not a nonprofit) masquerades under.

Best staff and great people to live with

Kind caring staff (mostly) and great warm hearted helpful programs, led by awesome co-ordinators, and run by and in an amazing community!

I entered this shelter 5 years ago when I had nowhere else to go. They were absolutely amazing, even went as far as to finance art classes for me and help write my resume. I stayed in their transition program for about a year and they taught me tons of basic life skills such as cleaning properly, cooking and most importantly, budgeting. I am now working a full time job of 3 years and have my own bachelor apartment, I owe it all to them. If you come here, please be cooperative with the staff. Everything they do is for you, to make sure you leave there to lead a productive life. Thank you so much SYS!!!!

This a wonderful place and am very grateful they made me feel at home, I don't know what I can say because the staff helped me a lot when I needed help and the food is so delicious

Terrible service. Going in to look for a friend who was in trouble and they totally disregarded me and the problem. Disgusting people and I feel bad for the kids that stay there.

I was in need and stayed there for a time many years ago when I was younger. I was going through what was probably the worst time in my life and without the staff there I probably wouldn’t be alive to write this review. I can’t thank them enough.Jeff, Grant, Lindsay, Sue and a host of others are outstanding people.
